What Happens At Physical Death?  Part 1

By Ken Fletcher

“After the flood of Noah, the original world is changed into what we see now. All souls on the new post-world came from Noah’s family. It was not really revealed very clearly about where souls who left here went until the account of Moses where we get glimpses. So, there’s a lot of actual history that is not known anymore in our day.

Real truth seekers look for truth where truth exits. I believe that God has given us the Bible as our basis of truth. First of all, I have never heard of anybody who has come back from a near death or death experience who was not changed. What they experienced and came back to report is amazing!

Most of the cases I have seen are very positive, peaceful and glorious. But, there are some that have come back horrified at what they experienced. Some experienced other beings pulling at them, and overtaking them, dragging them into a place of confinement. It’s true that the people who died outside of faith in Jesus are the ones who report these terrible things at physical death.

Of course, most all people do not get to come back and tell us–once they are gone they are gone. But, it is interesting that those cases of people who have faith in Jesus are the ones who go in peace and, if they were able to come back to this world, they report of peaceful, wonderful and beautiful things. Every one!

But, not so with the unbeliever. There’s no peace. On the super rare occasion that these come back, they come back completely terrified! Every one! So, one person has peace and beauty, another person has horror and fear. I believe it is true that there are no atheists at the point of death. All of that falseness they believed before goes out the window!

Lets please go back to when Jesus came and taught us. He revealed to us the account of the rich man and Lazarus, a beggar. He described that Lazarus died and was carried by angels to Abraham’s bosom (The place where departed saints were abiding in peace and comfort. Not heaven.). The rich man died also and found himself in flames in a place of torment.

The rich man could see Lazarus in Abraham’s bosom in comfort because, as Abraham explained, there was a great space or chasm in between the two areas. One could not go from one side to the other.–Between the torment side and the comfort side. But, they could  see each other! They could even communicate. First, the rich man, who was tormented in the flames, wanted Abraham to send Lazarus to bring him water.

Then, the rich man wanted Abraham to send Lazarus back to warn his brothers about the place where he was. Lazarus was no one’s servant anymore! And, Abraham told the rich man, that they had the law and prophets, let his brothers hear them!

Jesus gave us information about the region of the dead departed souls. These are actual people who have died, and where they were abiding after their physical death during the Old Covenant that was in force at that time, and, probably existed since the fall of mankind in the beginning. We’re not sure how long back.

Some people falsely believe that this is some sort of parable. It’s not. It is the description of the place of departed souls BEFORE the New Covenant came into effect! It was the description of real people who lived on the earth. Where they went when their bodies died! Back then, there were two distinct sections in the same region!

People were there! Some are still there as I write today! The rich man is still there! Well, you may say, where is Lazarus and Abraham and all the Old Covenant saints who died in faith of the coming Messiah? Please keep reading.

When Jesus came, and walked on earth, at that time, this was the way it was designed in the place of the departed souls. It had a torment side and a comfort side and a large space in between to separate them.

When Jesus became sin for us at His crucifixion and death, He desended to the torment side of this place a cursed man (with our sins). He went there for us! All who believe! In our place! So, that we would not have to go! The righteous for the unrighteous! But, death and hell could not hold Him!

In Abraham’s bosom, the One they were waiting for had arrived. They could not go into God’s presence without Him before! But, now, the wait was over!

By God’s power, Jesus broke down the whole place. He released all those who were abiding in Abraham’s bosom. Then, He took them into heaven completely justified! The comfort side, where the departed Old Covenant souls were abiding temporarily, has been broken down. Also, since Jesus took the Old Covenant saints out, what has been broken down is the earlier confines of the torment side. The comfort side has now also become part of the torment side.

It’s all just one section now since Jesus came and was raised from the dead. He took all of the Old Covenant saints with Him into heaven! Understand, the space for the torment side has been enlarged a lot from before when Abraham was there in the region. No comfort holding place is needed anymore.

The Old Covenant saints are all in heaven now in the presence of God. Plus, all of the New Covenant saints who are in Christ now go directly to heaven at the death of the physical body!” KF  KenFletcher.org
