“Many believers have an inferiority complex attitude. Why? It’s because they do not understand who they are! We believers do not come into the Kingdom with the complete understanding of who we are in Christ.
We grow into the understanding as we go. We can grow rapidly or not much at all in this life. Many believers struggle with the fact that, because they are in Christ, they are greater than Satan and the demons.
We believers are created IN Christ. One with Him! The Great Conquer Himself! Inside of us! It is our union with Christ that makes us great. It’s Jesus! But, we’re IN Him! We are part of Him!
We have His nature and authority on earth over the evil spirits. If a believer has grown to the understanding that they are far more powerful in Christ than all the evil spirits, suddenly the evil spirits don’t come around and mess with us like before.
Those evil spirits are just bullies trying to push their stuff on us. But, if we have an inferiority complex, wrongly believing that they are stronger or smarter than us, they have bluffed their way into our lives. And, if we grow up in our understanding of who we are in Christ, we become confident in His power in us!
We find out who we really are in Him. We share what He has with Him. We share everything with Him. And so, we are one in the Kingdom. Doing His will on earth while we are in this body. If we truly know who we are, how we are created IN Christ, we will begin to understand why the demons and evil spirits are afraid of us.
No matter how big they puff themselves up to be, they are small potatoes with us BECAUSE we are one with God! Our confidence comes from our faith in God. We believe we are His. We believe He is greater in us than the spirits that are in the world. Therefore, we are devil masters!
They do not like to be pushed around by the finger of God. When we know who we are we have the same authority that Jesus had when He was on the earth. We have the same authority as Jesus has now on the earth. We are joined with Him. He is our head, we are His body!
It means the body shares with what the head is. We ARE NOW the same body as Jesus! God has made it so! We are sitting in the heavenlies next to the Father WITH Christ! Now, think about that one for a while! That is a mind blowing fact! Yet, that is what we know is the truth from the Word of God.
The truth is, if we can get the believers in the Church (the real believers of Jesus) to understand who they are in Christ, we could turn this nation and world around completely. But, too many believers have been taught powerless religion.
Because of the smoke-screen of religion, believers have not grown into the understanding of who they really are in Christ. So, we have a bunch of lame believers who have been fed and taught garbage about their true relationship with God.
When will we as Kingdom brothers and sisters awaken to the truth about us. We should be advanced far beyond where we are in spiritual understanding. Especially Kingdom understanding! We should be further along. But, we’re not.
Now, I don’t want you to get the wrong idea about me. I am in the growth process as well as you are. I also should be much further along than I am. When I say you, I’m looking at me too. Because, most of us are lacking in understanding in these important foundational things. I may be at a far lower level of understanding that you are, but I do not want to stay there.
I want to ascend to a higher understanding of who I am in Christ. What my place is in the Kingdom and in His Body. What it really means to be One with Him in my everyday life. What He wants to guide me into. That is what I want.
We should not be complacent about our growth in the Lord. We should desire in our heart to grow in our understanding of our union with God. It is great! And, there is so much we do not know that we already possess! But, as we desire to grow, we can understand more of what we have in Christ. And, what He has in us!
In my time in the entertainment industry, I was shocked more than once at some extremely talented performers who would get jealous of another performer. They even had a hit record. They were a wonderful talent. But, was envious of another performer on the show. Maybe just because the other performer got good crowd response to their act. Amazing!
Why would a seasoned, talented, successful performer get jealous or envious of another performer? It doesn’t make sense. But, the reason is they look at themselves in an inferior way. Even though they were the one with the hit record and is a great talent themselves. They did not see themselves that way! They saw themselves as less.
Not seeing themselves in reality. Perceiving themselves as trying to be better than someone else because they view themselves as not up to par. When they obviously ARE! This can be a simple example of pride manifesting. Pride can manifest as inferiority as well.–not just inflated pride in one’s self. We believers can be like that. We do not realize what we have inside!
We do not realize how the Lord has re-created our spirit and forever dwells in us and with us all the time! We do not want to puff ourselves up in false pride. No, no! We are trying to understand the reality of our place in Christ. It is vast!
It is wider than wide. Higher than high. And, deeper than deep. That is what we have right now in Christ! It’s unfathomable! But, we have the opportunity to search it out. As we grow up in our spiritual understanding, we can grasp more. And, we should be grasping more. Every day!
There are many things that are trying to get our attention. It has caused us to loose our focus on who we are in Christ. When our focus is targeted on Jesus inside, we are in position to grow and understand more of who we really are in Him.
If we do not learn to live out who we really are inside, we will fall for the same old tricks of the devil. We can start feeling inferior to the devils and the world. When, all the time, we are in union with the God of the universe.
We are in covenant with Him! We are His children! Will He not reveal to us the magnitude of who we are in Him? Of course He will! When we grow to the capacity to grasp it! He will and He does! I am so thankful that we do not have to rely on another person to reveal to us who we are in Christ. Jesus shows us individually and personally if we desire.
So many people are relying on pastors and leaders to grow in the Lord. They can be helpful, of course. But, our growth and our capacity to comprehend the scope of what we have with Jesus comes from Him. We progress in our understanding of His indwelling presence.
We learn to listen to His words inside and then act upon them in faith. If we are wise, we can move in His direction for us all the time.–If we pay attention and focus on Him inside. We do not have to have an inferiority complex. We can learn to live as Jesus designed for us.
We can rise up to understand that each one of us is special to Him. And, He does not condemn us. But, Jesus always encourages us in the truth. Why feel inferior? You are the apple of God’s eye! He only created 1 of you! And, He knows your full potential.
Why not? Why not focus on Jesus inside and grow in your understanding of who you really are in Him?” KF KenFletcher.org
