“I’m sure some people think I’m crazy when I talk about hearing from Jesus in our thoughts. Well, I certainly understand their thinking because I used to be there also. I write these articles in faith to help someone else who may have not even considered it was possible to be in instant communication with Jesus through our thoughts. But, after my encounter with Jesus, my perceptions changed. I did not understand why they had changed until Jesus showed me.
During my encounter with Jesus on March 9,2022 as He held me and spoke to me, from my heart, with my will, deliberately, just because of love for Jesus, out of a heart of thanksgiving, I gave Him everything that I knew how to give. I gave all to Him during that encounter.
Still, the next day, I could not relate what I did with how I could hear Jesus so clearly in my thoughts? But, after He showed me the correlation, it was understandable. I believe now, that any believer can and should do what I did if they have not. It was not something that was exclusive to me. On the contrary, Jesus wants to be in that clear of communication with all who are in the body of Christ. No matter who they are.
I think most believers don’t believe it’s possible. Like I used to believe. I always wanted to be clear with Jesus all the time. But, there were so many distractions and selfish & willful directions I was involved with. Hindering my perceptions. As the case is with many believers.
Now, I understand better that all of those willful and selfish ambitions were actually me settling for less than what Jesus wanted for me. He wanted better. Much better. And, so it is for you. I am seeing that it all lies within our will.
I believe a smaller percentage of believers have really given Jesus everything. They have experienced His direction. They alone know what it means to completely follow His will. Even if they did not experience a thought to thought relationship because maybe they did not know it was possible, Jesus still is sure to reveal His will to those who have given Him their own will–which is their complete lives–to do His will.
Even though I arrived at this place of perception through this encounter with the Lord that I had, it doesn’t mean that you cannot arrive at the same understanding as I did. I really don’t believe it was the encounter itself that caused my perception change. According to what Jesus showed me, it was the complete giving of all to Him that caused me to be able to hear Him like this. So, ANYONE can do what I did and be thought to thought with Jesus.
It’s our personal decision to give it all to Jesus. Which means all our problems, all our successes, all our past mistakes and sins, all those selfish ambitions apart from Jesus, all the money and stuff we may possess now and in the future, all of where we live, where we go to church, all our family, where we work, all our soul & spirit, all our body. All that we are now and forever. All His. Then, we simply guard our hearts making sure we keep it all there with Jesus from then on.
It’s in our own will given freely to the One who gave Himself for us! Does Jesus have complete permission to guide and direct us in His wisdom and will for us? Willingly, we trade in our will to experience His great will for us! It’s a good deal for anybody! His will involves not only now, but eternal stuff also. It’s how Jesus sees things for us.
To give Jesus all is the starting place for clarity with Him. Honesty. Integrity with Him. Truth. Mutual trust. Nothing in between us! Realizing that He sees our future like a photo snap shot. He instructs us in His way. Jesus is faithful to us. We place our trust in Him to guide us in God’s will for our lives. This relationship is the most precious thing we can experience in life. We can see miracles when we have given Jesus everything.
We are one with Him. Regardless of how we may feel at any place in life, we are blended and infused with the Spirit of God! Jesus’s Spirit! We should be hearing, seeing, perceiving, what He has for us in His will. When we realize that Jesus indeed has all of us, we will be clear as crystal with Him.
He will give us words, show us things and directions that we can respond to in faith. And, we can learn to walk out in this life what He has told us in our secret thoughts. Hearing from Jesus clearly, we get to respond in our faith! We get to grow! We get to share Jesus with others!
To be Spirit led is to understand that Jesus is with us 24/7. We should understand that it is possible to hear from Jesus all the time. Day or night. We actually live in this body WITH Him! We share everything with Him! He experiences everything we do WITH us!
He understands everything about us! And, He is closer than anyone! Inside! All the time! Why are we not experiencing His leading and His thoughts to us? His thoughts are many toward us! But, how many of them are we picking up?
It is our great privilege to come into a close thought to thought relationship with Jesus. The truth is, it is all up to us! Just how close and clear do you and I want to perceive Him inside? It’s not that we have to perform a certain way. Or, do some kind of ritual. No. Of course, not! With us and Jesus, it’s heart to heart. Soul to soul. Because, we’re ALREADY unified and blended with His Spirit! We are infused with His Life! Here! Now!
Being this close and unified with the Spirit of God, we should be hearing His thoughts to us anytime! What does it mean in actuality? Sometimes, it’s simple directions throughout the day. His wisdom flows almost without us realizing it at times. Our will is already wanting to do His will now. When we find out about what Jesus wants to do, we already want to do it. Because, we already know, it is the best for us and others.
When we swerve off of His will, we know it inside instantly! And, we instantly correct and give all back into the Lord’s control to do His will. To follow His directions. To walk His paths in faith each day! That should be our goal. And, while we experience His good will, we tell everybody how good Jesus really is! We can’t help it!
The fact is, where your desire is in your heart, that’s where you will be with Jesus. If you and I are satisfied with our relationship where it is, then we’re not going to advance as much in growth of understanding. But, if we are not satisfied, and we hunger and desire more of God–more of Jesus–more clarity with Him, we can have more! Yes, we can! It’s all our own personal decision how much we experience the Lord in our lives.” KF KenFletcher.org
