God made a Covenant with a man named Abraham. We know it as the Old Covenant or Testament. It was in force until Christ came. Then, even when Jesus came to the earth, it was still in force–the Old Covenant! The prophet, John the baptist, and Jesus arriving and walking on the earth was the transition period from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant.
Jesus is Lord of the New Covenant. It’s the Covenant between God and the Man, Jesus, who is the Messiah! It’s a perfect Covenant! Sealed with the perfect blood of Jesus. Unbreakable! Eternal! Everlasting!
Jesus proclaimed it is for everybody who believes! The New Covenant is in force now! It exists for the purpose that we, who are completely unworthy, can enter in to this Covenant with God also. It happens through our faith in the Blood of Jesus and His resurrection from the dead!
We enter in this Covenant by faith! When we do, we instantly become the righteousness of God in Christ! Completely in right standing, clean and perfect before God In Christ. It’s beyond amazing! The realization of where we find ourselves after we have believed and entered in is more and more mind blowing!
We have a Covenant with God, believer friend! It is sealed with the perfect eternal blood of Jesus for us! This is how much God loves us! We should remind ourselves to be grateful for His love and grace to us! Through Father’s great plan of salvation, Jesus has redeemed us and brought us back into His family!
Everyone who believes can receive His beyond imagination free gift! Everyone! We are changed instantly when we enter into the New Covenant by faith. We are blood bought by the perfect and eternal blood of Jesus! He is the God-Man who stands in between sinful mankind and God. The One who has given His own blood to have us with Him!
Oh, that we would appreciate what Jesus has done for us! We do not really know and understand the depths of what He has redeemed us FROM or what He has redeemed us TO. But, what we do know is that it is grace upon grace. Love upon love. That God would send us His Own Son to become sin FOR US. Beyond comprehension is this love. The depths of God’s love is not fathomable!
The truth is, all who are in Christ have a Blood Covenant with God. We are redeemed with the precious blood of Jesus. We entered in Covenant with God when we entered in to the body of Christ. We are participants in the grace of God. We believed His word. We trusted in Him. We are included in this everlasting Covenant. Praise His Name forever!” KF KenFletcher.org
