“If Jesus is in me through the Holy Spirit, then I am there with Him in His throne through the Holy Spirit. This is truth, my friend. We are risen with Him in life! Now! Seated with Him in the heavenlies. Right next to the Father! Every day and night!
If Jesus is here in our spirit, and He certainly is, then we are there with Him in our Kingdom now also! You don’t think that’s true? Then, you can argue with the Bible about it. Because, that is exactly what it says about we who are in Christ!
Perhaps you have been like me in the past. Maybe we grow in this reality. For years, I could not really wrap my mind around what it means to be seated WITH Christ. But, we’re learning! It’s WITH Christ, my friend! With! It’s true! He is our Head! We ARE His Body. Whether here on earth or those who are there with Him in Heaven, we are! There or here, we are ONE Body in Christ! Yes, we are!
Now, to say that you are not really seated with Christ NOW in the heavenlies, you will have to make that up! Because that’s NOT what the Word says at all. Why do we try and think otherwise of what God has revealed to us in the Bible? Why don’t we grow in what He has reveled to us? Why don’t we practice it?
Knowing it IS real even though we cannot perceive it in the natural? God’s Word is the ultimate in understanding reality! If we approach it in faith–faith that we know it is the truth and we need to adjust our perceptions and focus upon God’s truth about us!
So, whether we perceive ourselves seated in the Throne with Jesus or not, it’s still true and real and in effect now! We are there! ALL who are in Christ! And, if we can get this real solid in our understanding, we can utilize where we are as we approach the Father about ANYTHING!
We can be so much more effective here on earth if we know where we are in heaven! Someone said a long time ago that people can be so heavenly minded that they’re no earthly good. I really disagree with that. Because, when people are more heavenly minded, they can be so much more earthly good!
When we get things given to us by Father, we can effect others and situations with His solutions. In essence, we do indeed have the Kingdom within us! Do we realize how amazing that is? Heaven is in us now! Jesus is in us now!
If He is here, then we are there! And since that is true, THERE IS HERE! The Kingdom is here! Inside us! How many really believe that? It’s true regardless. If someone deposited 10 million dollars in your bank account, and if no one told you, or you did not know or understand about your bank account and what is there that’s yours, you’ll not act upon it.
Even though it is yours! Even though you had 10 million that was deposited in your account. You could not act upon it and make decisions based upon the facts–because you do not know or understand the facts. Well, you have much more deposited in your heart than 10 million dollars! You have the Kingdom inside! Father is there! Jesus is there! We are there together! In one place at one time!
We are also here on earth for a short period of time. The idea is to bring heaven inside out to this earth. We all have limited God so much! He wants to do so much more for us personally and for others. He wants to put us into a position of abundance. More than enough! Plenty! That is God’s will for everything! More than enough! Do we believe that? Do we expect Him to lead us into more than enough in our own lives?
Well, we can learn to live from the inside out. To live in the Kingdom! To experience what it means to be seated so close to the Father in Christ! We can but whisper to Him and He hears clearly. We can but think a thought to Him, and He instantly has it. No time lapse. This is what we have. Do we believe it? Are we growing in this truth?
The fact is our union with God is deeper than we can fathom in this life. We all know that. But, there is always much more we can discover and flow in while we are here. The understanding comes to us through faith.
We think and act upon what God shows us. We move in this life by faith. We are motivated by God’s Word. We choose to move or turn as He shows us.–Because of our blindness of perception in this fallen body. We can see through Him! We live by faith not by sight (or the senses)!
The truth of where we are is reality in Christ. We should line up our believing with what the Word says. And then, live in it’s truth! Oh, what things we can learn about life and ourselves. If we would appropriate what we have. Maybe you have never thought about your relationship with God like this. Maybe learning these truths will open some new doors in your mind.
Maybe you will be able to see some solutions and possibilities in your life. It’s the fogginess of our perceptions of who we really are! We are created IN Christ! Together WITH Christ! We are not only co-heirs of God’s Kingdom, we are joint-heirs with Christ. Have you seen that? Well, it’s true! How great is that? Amazing! Of course, we could never, ever do this! BUT! God HAS done it!
Knowing and being established in these truths, it changes everything! It puts us in a mode of understanding reality with Christ. Understanding who we are in heaven changes our perception of how we see ourselves on earth. It changes what we do. It gives us a heavenly perspective.
I talk a lot about being totally submitted to Jesus. We do have a will of our own. We have the privilege to submit ourselves to the will of our Lord Jesus. We can live by faith in Him and His Words. Even sometimes when we may fail in our attempt to live in faith, He is pleased with our effort. Jesus respects that!
He sees the sincerity. But always remember, we are learning how to live by faith while we’re here. God is pleased when we live by faith and do things by faith. Knowing we are in heaven next to the Father helps us have proper perspective while we are also temporarily here in this earthly body.
We need to practice seeing ourselves inside the way God says we are! We need to see ourselves as the Body of Christ here on earth. We’re both in heaven next to the Father seated with Jesus, and we’re here in these earthly bodies. Simultaneously! We are eternal. We are alive in Christ!
It is a good thing to meditate on where we are with God. He is pleased when we grow in our understanding of our relationship with Him. The more we learn, the more we are amazed. The more we grow, the more we can comprehend. Father knows this and only gives us what we can handle and understand. How good He is to us!!
We can expand our understanding of what we have with God by our desire and hunger. If it’s not a big deal to us, well, we probably are not going to get very far in our understanding. But, if we will seek God for understanding and wisdom, we show Him that we desire it and are hungry for growth. He will always give us His wisdom if we doubt not. So, lets ask and not allow ourselves to doubt. We will have it!
If you really desire to go deeper with God, you can. There is no stopping place to how deep you can go. What may satisfy me may not satisfy you. Or, visa versa. The thing is, He knows us intimately. He knows what will do it for each of us. There is no depth too deep with God. He satisfies every soul’s longing. He is far greater than what our thoughts are able to even think!
As a child of God, there is much you can do to affect this world. The Bible tells us that the prayers of a righteous man or woman avails much. Now, “much” in the Bible really means much! How much? Can your prayers affect a nation? Or a leader? Or a child? Or someone on the other side of the world? How much? Well, I submit to you that your prayers can affect millions! Or generations! Or one specific person’s life. God is great! He’s unlimited! It’s about what we can believe!
Knowing where we are in heaven helps us to have proper perspective on why we’re on the earth! We have a much better picture from where we are. Listen believer friend, we do not have to try and get in the spirit, etc. to get there. Or pray a long time. We’re already there! Instantly! All the time!
Do we perceive ourselves there like that? Maybe not. But, the more we dwell on the truth, the more we come into realization of the truth in our lives. Our faith expands. We can see it inside. We can hear Jesus inside in our thoughts. Why? Because, we are One with Jesus and the Father!
I talk a lot about this because, if we can get this right, if we can see ourselves as He sees us, if we can hear Him speak in our thoughts, we can live it out here on earth in faith! We can see miracles, my friend! By His grace, we will! We can see people’s lives changed! We can do the works of Jesus!
Listen, I know that I’ve just scraped the surface on this. There are people who are very deep in God. I mean, very deep! They have the desire and the capacity. Plus, Father trusts them. We have faith in God, but remember, He has faith in us too. How deep do you want to know God?
Here’s a good thing to say: If He’s here, and He is, then, I’m there, and I am! If you’re in Christ, that’s where you are! God says so!” KF KenFletcher.org
