“Believers, if you’re not hearing from Jesus about the things pertaining to your life, why is that? Are you not God’s child? Do you not have Jesus? Do you not possess the Holy Spirit dwelling in your spirit? Are you not currently connected and part of the Kingdom of God?
Well, if you are in Christ, you are part of His body, and, you should be personally hearing from God about your own life! I mean anything! If you don’t know something you need to know from God, why aren’t you seeking Him about it?
If you are Christ’s then you should be believing that you hear from Him concerning things in your life. If you are not, then, humbly, that is your first question in faith to Him. If Jesus is in you, and your life is in Him, you should be finding out what His direction is.
I think many Christians are just flat lazy about this! They’re too busy and have their attention on the things of this world. Distracted! When they should be focusing on Jesus inside! Well, if this describes you, why don’t you shake yourself out of the state of slumber you are abiding in. And, really seek Jesus about your life.
Ask Him honestly about what is REALLY going on with you! Inside you want change, but your outer man is running the show! Who is really in charge of your life? It should be Jesus and you should be hearing from Him about the things concerning you and your family. Really now, where is your faith?
You may be believing the circumstances rather than the Lord! I’m talking to some folk here! How do I know this stuff? I’ve been there for too many years in the past! I have fallen for the tricks of the devil. So, that is why I am here talking about these things.
A lot of people are leaning on other people when they should be leaning on Jesus! The Bible says that if we trust in the arm (or strength) of man, it is a snare (or trap) to us. But, those who trust in the Lord will be led by Him.
Jesus always leads us in paths of peace and abundance. He leads us in paths of wisdom. He brings us into His good things because He loves us. How can a man or woman find what is really best? Only by trusting and having faith in Jesus! Following Him in all things!
But, are you listening to Him? Are you really yielding everything to Him? That is the place to be! That is where you hear clearly and accurately! Why is that? Because your heart is right and clear before Him.
Oh, Jesus knows the believer who is being stubborn and going their own way. What does He do? He waits. And helps as much as possible. Until the believer finally realizes they need to yield all to Him.
Jesus and the Holy Spirit are gentlemen. They are not pushy. They are kind. Jesus will lead you in the things that are facing you, but, are you in the place in your heart to really listen? Will you be certain when He tells you what to do? Or will you continue to do it your way completely or in part?
Now, brother and sister, if you are in Christ, you know that you should be hearing from Him in your heart! And, if you’re not hearing from Jesus, the first important question you should be asking yourself is, why aren’t I?” KF KenFletcher.org
