“What do we believe about our relationship with God? Do we really believe that Jesus is inside of us through the agency of the Holy Spirit? What about the New Testament explaining where we are seated in Christ? Do we believe we are really there or not?
What about where the Bible tells us of who we are and what we can do as joint-heirs with Jesus? Do we believe it and act upon it as true? I think many times we just don’t believe it because it is so far beyond our natural thinking. Yep! It takes faith in the Word to believe that is where we are in Christ!
Now, we should not doubt but believe the Word is true that we are seated with Christ in the heavenlies! Do we act like it? Do we see the Lord like this? Do we see Father from this place where He says we are located? Is He really inside our spirits? These are questions I ask myself, brother and sister!
Do I really believe it? Yes, I am growing in this–trying to grasp the enormity of what our union with God means! It is vast to say the least! We are in Christ now! So we have this now! Believer friend, we have been perceiving ourselves way, way too low!
Look at what the Savior did to purchase our redemption! Willing to be tortured and murdered for us. Who are we that the Lord of Glory would come down here into this cesspool of a world and be murdered for us? Sacrificing Himself for us! Who are we that He would allow Himself to be treated this way?
Who are we? Friends, we are much more than we realize! Does that mean we get into pride about who we are? Of course not! That would be really, really stupid! We humbly recognize we are our Father’s children. We simply are what He has made us. But, we are much more than we could ever have dreamed!
Because of Jesus, and the new birth, we ARE much more than we can perceive in this life. But, our relationship is there right now! And, even though we cannot perceive who we are in total yet, we CAN believe who God says we are in spite of our perceptions!
We can believe where we are sitting with Christ. And, we can believe He lives inside of us. Both at the same time simultaneously! And, we know for certain that His Word is true! Presently, in this life, we are growing in our understanding of who we are in Christ as Royalty in the Family of God.
But, our eyes are upon Him! Jesus will show us the way to understanding these vast and deep truths about who we are now in union with God. It is exciting to explore the unlimited nature of who we are created to be. Because, now, since Jesus came in and changed everything, we are infused and One with God!
It’s not about you anymore. It’s not about me anymore. It’s about we! Us with the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We are now one with them! It is a huge, huge thing to wrap our minds around. It takes growth in our understanding. We should meditate on these truths to comprehend them inside our heart.
How fast can you and I grow? As fast as we are hungry for the truth! You could be a young person and grow in these things rapidly! What do you desire in your heart? I hope you will deeply consider the reality of the Kingdom of God that is in you right now!
We are who God says we are! We have what God says we have! We can do what God says we can do! Do we know what God has said about it?
We love God because He first loved us. And now, because of Jesus, we are one with Him! What a glorious revelation!” KF KenFletcher.org
