“What’s the forecast? Not the atmospheric forecast, but your inner forecast? What do you see ahead in your future? What do you believe you are heading into? Many people have a dark and foreboding forecast for their life. You can see it in their faces. The hurt they expect that’s coming. The negative circumstances they are seeing inside that they believe are coming.
You know, it is really easy to get into that frame of mind. But, as a believer in Jesus, there is another way to see yourself. We can see ourselves in light of who we are, not in what is coming. We have Jesus and are blended together with Him. All those who are in Christ are infused with His Spirit.
I do not believe you can look into your future in a negative way when you look at it with Jesus. All things are possible. With Jesus, we can expect good to come.–When we do things His way, of course. If you or I decide to make important choices without consulting with Jesus first, we are foolish. We are shooting in the dark without Jesus!
How can a person who has had a negative forecast have a different forecast? By being committed to hearing from Jesus and doing things in His time and way. Then, we can have a positive outlook toward the future. Things may not be as we want now, but we can hear from Jesus and receive His wisdom and direction each day. Doing so takes us to a positive direction in every area of our lives.
We have a personal life coach living inside with us 24/7. Why are we looking at things so negative? Do we not know who we are joined with? Not only that, but do we have a clue about who we are? In the spirit, we are much more than we realize and understand. If we can get to the place of seeing ourselves as Jesus sees us instinctively, we can by-pass a whole lot of false understandings about ourselves AND our future!
If we see negative ahead, we should first go to Jesus about it. We should find out the truth from Him. All things are possible to us who believe. We can change things! We have the ability! Jesus instructs us! Shows us what we can do. When to do things! When not to do things!
Jesus is always after our best. Not only in this life, but for eternity! Oh how we should trust Him! How can we have a negative outlook when the truth is we are blessed beyond measure? If we are seeing negative in our future, we are seeing and perceiving wrong!
We must change our forecast to Jesus’s forecast for us! Then, we know we are headed for positive-land. No matter how rough it may seem to be in your life now, faith will take you to another place. A place of a positive forecast. A place of peace and abundance. A place of healing and health. Our God is Great!
Because of my faith in Jesus, I am endeavoring to see nothing but positive ahead. There may be some negatives up there as we are all touched by this present evil world we are in. But, even if there is, I’m good. Because, I know He will be there with me guiding me into His will every time! Negatives become positives when you factor in Jesus!
Without Jesus, there’s a good reason to be negative! But, with Jesus guiding, giving us wisdom and counsel, there are many good reasons to be positive about our forecast of the future. No matter how bad the devil says it will be, if we have Jesus, we are going to be just fine! He and us together are more than enough for any situation and, by His grace, we can overcome anything!” KF KenFletcher.org
