Depressed?

By KenFletcher

“As I look around, I realize. I would literally be depressed in this present world if I did not have Jesus. But, instead, I have joy in my soul. Because I know Him! I am His! He is mine! THAT is what really matters in our individual hearts. Without Jesus, in reality what is there to be happy about?

Without Him, what is the destination? Destruction, is the answer to that question. But, with Jesus, we have everything! The poorest and most destitute person in this world can have Jesus. They become rich instantly. They have everything! Jesus will show them the way up and out.

To have Jesus means we have favor with God. Just like Jesus has. We have obtained everything worth obtaining! Yes, friend this world is temporary and all the fashion and trends pass away. But, the Word of the Lord will stand forever.

Those who belong to Him are known intimately by Father God. He knows who are His own and those who are not. Jesus said in the day of judgement there would be people who would say they did great things in His name. His reply will be, I never knew you! Depart from me!

What does that mean? It means that people may say they are doing things for Jesus, but the real question with Jesus is, He never knew them! They were not joined with Him in Life! But, they remained separated from God–even though they were doing religious things.

One must wonder what their real motivation was? Well, the Master knows. And, He cannot be fooled. I would not want to be in this present world without Jesus, dear friend. Listen to me! You think you have a clue what is really going on here on earth? Well, you had better understand that the only sure foundation in this life is Jesus and His Word.

Everything else that can be shaken WILL be shaken. There is a whole lot of shaking coming up. Multiple Bible prophecies are being fulfilled as I write this tonight. Where is your faith? What are you basing your belief? Is it really true? Or is it a just another facade?

If I did not have Jesus, I would most certainly be depressed. The big picture is bleak for the future down here. But, I’m not depressed. Because I know in whom I have believed and I am pesuaded that He is in control of my life. I know Him.

Though I am not pleased with all the negative stuff going on in the world, I’m happy inside because I have eternal life with Jesus. I hope your life is anchored in the Rock that cannot be moved! Jesus!” KF KenFletcher.org
