“We are seeing now is what has been there for a long time. Why are we so shocked? The hate is manifesting. Just like evil always does. More people have been exposed to what was already in their heart. What we’re seeing is a manifestation of the spiritual, my friend.
The tragedy of Charlie Kirk’s assassination and all the ugly aftermath is a manifestation of the spiritual condition of our nation and world. But, this historical event has caused many people to look inward. To realize where they are personally with God. To receive Jesus for themselves. And, many have! And, many more will!
I have heard some amazing testimonies of people coming to Jesus because of what happened to Charlie Kirk. Their hearts were touched by the Holy Spirit. They realized where they were with God and wanted to be right with God. They came to Jesus! They joyfully expressed publicly what they experienced after they came to Jesus. From death to life. The connection is complete with them and God. How exciting!
But, we also see other people by the many thousands. Drawing back from the precious Holy Spirit who shows them the truth. These dear ones are abiding in darkness as I write tonight. Who seem to want to stay there! Never mind the tragedy of Charlie and his young family. They think, he had it coming. They are glad Charlie was silenced in this world.
This is the deeper issue: Who is their spiritual father? While some people are broken hearted about what happened. Who came to Jesus because they saw the truth and came to the light. They are forever changed tonight! But, those other precious ones who still don’t see and understand. Those are the ones we must pray for. Because, they do not know who they are and where they are in reality.
They are blinded by the evil one. If they would just listen to their heart inside. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to them and show them reality. If they will. Will they? Each one makes his or her own mind for themselves. This is the deeper issue. Do we know Jesus that Charlie preached?
Already, many people are coming to God because of what has happened. The Holy Spirit has been able to awaken the reality of Jesus in so many people’s heart. The message we should be telling the world is only found in faith in Jesus. The Bible declares, the person who has Jesus has eternal life–the person who does not have Jesus does not have eternal life! It’s just that simple.
The deeper issue is, do you have Jesus? When you take things right to the core it’s only about Jesus. I have seen this: There are those who believe the Bible as the basis for truth and those who do not. Those who do not believe in the account of Jesus deny He is who He says He is. They deny that He is God’s Son. They deny He was born here on earth through a virgin. They deny His blood is Holy. They especially deny that He was raised up bodily from the dead.
Our connection to God is only through faith in Jesus. That is the deeper issue! We can deny it is true all we want. But, it’s true! And since it is truth, no matter how far you run, someday you will realize it was always true. The truth will run YOU down eventually! Then, when you can perceive the truth because of the Holy Spirit dealing with you, you can see where you are with God.
The question is, will you allow the Holy Spirit to speak truth to you or not? By your will you can shut Him down. But, can you honestly say that you have any good reason to not allow Him to speak reality to you?
These are the times of radical change in this world. We see the forces of God and the forces of satan manifesting. It is exciting to see that so many are seeking Jesus and they are finding Him. But, there are so many who are still abiding in the dark. It’s those who we must reach with the truth!
As more young people come to the Lord, I believe we will see some wonderful things happening in the Kingdom of God. The forces of light and darkness have never been more defined in this world. I think it is fair to say to people, choose a side! Do you like being allied with evil where you are?
One thing that has happened in the last week is many people have awoken to the evil side they found themselves in. They realized they did not agree and did not want to be part of that evil side. They came to the Lord and to the Kingdom of God. They made a decision where they wanted to be!
There is nothing preventing you now to come to the Lord. All the things that would seem to prevent you are only lies! It is in your heart that you receive Him by faith. He knows if you are being real or not. So, no pretenses. Be honest with Him. Let Him touch you. Friend, choose to get out of the evil grips of the enemy. Receive God’s love through Jesus.
