“Where is your focus? On the outside or inside? We are the person on the inside running the body on the outside. It is amazing! God originally created people that are perfectly synced and in tune with the outer earthly part. So much so that we can falsely believe that we ARE the body! When, in actuality, we do not need this body to exist.
The body is of the earth. It is like a suit.–An earth suit that we need to live in this atmosphere of a material world. But, the body is not us! You and I are an eternal soul–which is spirit–dwelling inside a spirit body! Though we are located here now, we will live somewhere else eternally. With the believer, we live with our family in heaven when we depart earth.–Where all are in Christ.
Others who have rejected Jesus and His eternal life by their own will are going remain in the fallen family apart from God. And, will leave to go and be with their family apart from God. Regardless of who’s family we are in, because of sin, this earthly body is death-doomed and temporary in this state.
Because we are created in the image and likeness of God, we never cease to exit. The spirit is eternal. There is no redemption from sin except through faith in Jesus! His blood was spilled as the perfect offering to God for our sin.
We are only saved when we believe in God’s sacrifice for us! There is no eternal life of God without Jesus! In Him is our eternal life! What have WE to offer God apart from Jesus? Nothing! We have nothing, dear friend! We are the recipients of God’s grace and kindness toward us.
We humbly and thankfully accept what He has done for us. And, we give Him all we have which is our life and our will. Turning away from the futile direction we have been heading, and into God’s wonderful will for our lives. The joy of every human being is when they really encounter Jesus! Everything changes! We are free in Christ! We are free indeed!
We have His eternal life flowing in us all the time! We have His very own Spirit within our spirit! We are connected to heaven! He is connected to us here! Life, as we knew it, has been changed forever. We have a heavenly perspective now!
Our bodies are connected to this fallen temporary world. There is sin in our bodies that is at work. Death is at work in our bodies. But, we are not our bodies! We are the real eternal person inside. Who lives forever.
What believers look like cannot be seen from the outside. But, we are creatures of light! We are infused with God’s light! That is who we are! But, it is hidden from the world what we look like.
We are light creatures dwelling inside these earth suits–so integrated and synced with our inner man that we can be deceived into believing the outer man is all that we are! The deception comes to us through our thoughts and through the senses that are built in to our bodies.
Without the senses built in, how do we connect and interact with the physical world? It would be pointless to be here then. No, my friend, we are presently living in a fallen material matrix of input through thoughts and senses.
The spirit realm is the real and permanent realm. This fallen material realm must eventually be destroyed because it is contaminated and permeated with corruption, sin and death. The spirit realm is what you and I are really a part of, yet many are blind and unaware of it’s reality. It’s because of the amazing integration of our soul with the brain. The fallen nature has been blinded to the reality of where we are with God.
The deception of our real situation has come through our fallen understanding–because of the fallen world we’re part of since birth. The god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe! We have shaped our understanding of everything based upon faulty information. We have based our whole understanding upon a fallen viewpoint or perspective of this world.
In reality, without Jesus, we are separated from God and His life. We are joined with Satan by default. But, God has given us Jesus. Everyone can have Jesus! Everyone who believes can be free from eternal death! As we look to God in faith, we can be infused with His life through Jesus!
When we trust in Jesus, our whole outlook changes! We begin to see things like He does. Which is the way it really is! As we renew our minds in His Word, we begin to understand His perspective of what is really going on here on earth. Reality is in Jesus, my friend. There is no other!
We desire that what we are on the inside will come out on the outside to help people. Believers have a lot to give. We can receive wisdom from God to help others. We have the mighty Holy Spirit who can do miracles in their lives. We have all the good things of the Kingdom within our spirits all the time!
Believers must become God inside minded! Realizing who we have inside with us 24/7! Many times, we are too worldly minded. Too flesh minded. It is occupying much of our attention! We need to remind ourselves to focus on Jesus inside. Focus on what He said. Focus on doing His will.
We are the real person on the inside. There is wisdom on the inside with Jesus. There is peace on the inside even when there is chaos on the outside. There is power on the inside because God is in there with us! When we are submitted to Jesus, we have His Authority! We have real power to shut down any demon attack against us! On the inside is where we see God’s will. Inside is where we understand faith.
What we should pay attention to is on the inside of us! Our soul! Where Jesus abides! We should be developing clear communication with Him on a daily basis. I want to hear clearer. Better. I want to be more responsive to Jesus each day. Ready and willing to do what He directs. Why? Because, I am learning the more I can hear and do of His will the better off I am. His will is better!
Jesus wants to do much more than you and I have experienced thus far. He is beyond what we can think of. We can discover what He has for us. We can find out. We can hear from Him every day! He’s on the inside all the time! We are blended with Him in our spirit. We are one.
I believe that we have lived far below what God wants for us. But, we can change! We can begin to seek Jesus inside. And, we can find out some things. And, we can make some course changes. Fix this. Fix that. Get on His course from now on. If we are going to find out God’s will for us, we’re going to have to believe what we hear from Him on the inside!
