“The truth is, there is nothing too great for Jesus to fix in our bodies. It’s His general will for us to stay here on earth a long time–healed and well. So, what remains is our will. You see, people do not believe in their heart that they can be healed by God. They do not believe that God has ALREADY healed them!
We are the part that is not hooked up by faith! WE ARE THE BELIEVERS! What do we believe? What God has said! And, what do we act upon? What God has said! And, if we believe Him, and act upon His word, we can receive our healing right from the Spirit of God within us!
Do you believe your case is too difficult for you to come up and out of? Do you believe God wants you to stay there and suffer? Well, let me ask you this: If you had the ability to heal your sick baby, would you hold out on him or her? Would you just say to your child, well, it is my will for you to suffer with this sickness–There is something I want you to learn–all the while having the ability to heal them? We don’t teach our kids virtues by keeping sickness on them! How crewel is that?
Now you know, love would not allow you to do such a thing! Would it? No! Of course not! It would be your will to heal that child immediately–even before the child was attacked with sickness! How is it that God is different than us? Well, when it comes to this, He’s not! He is even more so than we are! He has seen ahead and has taken care of our need. His will is unshakeable and unchangeable! He is a God of love for us! He does not teach us something through sickness or disease. He does not want that for any of us! Otherwise, He would be working against Himself and against His character of love! And, He certainly doesn’t do that!
He HAS healed us by Jesus’s wounds applied at the whipping post! The Word tells us so! Now, you can believe those confused preachers if you want. You can certainly stay in an unbelieving stance if you want. Even though God’s will is set about it!
You can stay in a compromised place when it comes to faith.–Thinking maybe it is His will or maybe it’s not. And, you won’t receive diddly from God! You’re not in a position to receive! Not that God wants you to stay sick. No! But, because you won’t believe in what He has done! There may be just a sliver of doubt still in your heart about His will. That is too much doubt! You have to get all of that doubt out of your heart. It will hinder you from receiving!
I remember when Kenneth E. Hagin told about when he first realized what he had to do to get into faith about his death bed paralyzed condition. He realized it because the Holy Spirit revealed to him as Kenneth meditated on the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24. He saw that he had to believe that he received his healing, as he prayed, BEFORE he felt anything different in his body! What a revelation that was! It is so true! He did, and God did, and he was completely healed from his death bed!
So, believing is not feeling! Faith is not feeling! You have not received necessarily because you feel better. You receive healing by faith when you don’t feel any better. Because, we’re not looking to feelings to determine IF we received healing by faith! Remember, faith is spiritual–it’s of our heart (our soul). It is believing what God has said about it more than what we’re feeling one way or another. We lock in to believing His word–and we don’t move off of it no matter how bad we may feel at the time.
I can tell when I’m IN faith and when I’m NOT there. There’s a certainty inside. Fully persuaded. A connection made. A completeness about it when we are truly in faith. It’s not mental assent. You see, it’s possible to actually agree in our mind about the truth of it and STILL not be in faith about it! Faith is of the heart! And, it requires action. Faith without works (corresponding action) is dead faith!
I am just speaking from my own very limited personal experience. I have struggled with faith about physical healing like many people have. I have had faith failures also. But, I’ve had great faith victories too! My friend, if we can get into faith about our situation–if we can hear from Jesus inside about our situation, we CAN believe it!
We have the capacity to believe the words of Jesus on the matter. We CAN hear from God! And, we CAN lock in to His Word by our faith! And, my friend, if we are not moved away from that place of faith in our heart, we WILL have our healing manifest! Our body will change!
We must agree with God! Act and speak like we agree with God! Acting upon what He says for us to do! Regardless of how we feel! Sometimes, after we believe, it could actually feel worse! But, if we are not moved off of our faith in His Word, those feelings and pain, etc., have to change according to our faith! God’s Word is activated by our believing and acting upon it! Which includes our speaking.
The symptoms and circumstances must change according to the word of God. If God does not change, then that means His Word does not change. And, if my faith is based upon God’s unchanging Word, and it does not change, and I do not change, or be moved off of my believing, it must come to pass! Jesus said so!” KF KenFletcher.org
