“It’s either true or it’s not! Jesus is either alive or He’s not. But, friend, Jesus is alive! Sitting at the right hand of the Father in the Kingdom now! Ever interceding for God’s children. There is no one like Him!
He is our Savior from God. Without Him, we cannot approach God. But, with Him, we have unlimited access to the Father 24/7. Every day and night. Because Jesus is alive–because God raised Him up from the dead, through faith we can enter in to His eternal life and right standing with God.
It’s not just for later. It’s for now! We are changed because of what Jesus has done and our faith in the completed work of God. We’re not trying to be right with God. That is impossible. But, we receive as a gift Jesus’s very own righteousness! We could never pay for it.
Because of God’s love, we have been included into His very own family! What grace He has given to us! But, you know, there are many who did not believe in Jesus’s day. Many did not believe that He was raised from the dead. But, several hundred people saw first hand that He was.
Many saw Him raised up in the sky into heaven. Some ate with HIm. He changed His appearance after He was raised. He could walk through locked doors even though His body was solid flesh that could be touched. I think we are going to like our new resurrected body when we get it later. It will be like the one Jesus presently has in heaven now.
All because Jesus was raised up by God into new life! Life that included us! All he did, and went through, it was all for us! For our benefit! Praise Jesus forever! Through faith we are saved by His grace, not because of what we have done!
There is no one like Jesus. He has changed the destiny of multiplied millions over the centuries. Jesus has given us a great light. That we might see the way. Jesus is the hope of the world. I would also say that Jesus is the ONLY hope for this world. In Him is eternal life with God. Outside of Jesus there is NO eternal life with God.
In Him is truth. In Him is wisdom and understanding. The love in Him is the reason God gave Him to humanity. Jesus is the perfect picture of God. Everything He did and said was a true picture of what God is like. Jesus came to do the will of the Father on earth. And, He did it completely!
The plan was flawless. Executed with precision! The mission was completely successful. Jesus became sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Christ. What a plan! What hidden wisdom was unfolded and displayed.
Satan had no idea what the execution of the plan was. If he had known, he would have never crucified the Master. But, Satan fell into the plan blindly. God knew he would. And Jesus dismantled everything Satan did. God is stronger, smarter, and wiser than the devil. Always! And, because of Jesus, we are over-comers of Satan and the world.
God has set the resurrected Christ Jesus at His right hand. He has made Jesus Lord over all things. The amazing thing is that He has also set us there with Christ! Through faith, we have been created in union with Christ and are seated with Christ in the heavenly realm. God has done this!
No one can dispute what God has done! It’s just done! No matter what anyone else thinks about it. And, because of that, we ARE THERE! We’re there and here! Just as Jesus is here in us AND there in His Throne at the same time!
God has included us in the Kingdom. He has done what He has done to bring us into the Family! What a glorious truth. Everyone who believes the good news of Jesus and receives Him shall have God’s own eternal life! There is nothing more thrilling to think about than what God has done through Christ!
The love that God expressed by the gift of His Son, Jesus, is far beyond anything we have understood before. It is deeper than we can fathom. Wider than we can encompass. Higher than we can scale. God is great! And, He loves us with an everlasting love.
The miracle of Jesus being manifested here on earth is the most amazing message of the ages! Of our whole history on earth, Jesus ever stands as the most significant event of all time. God interacting with us. Coming to us in our helpless state. To redeem us out of the realm of darkness and slavery to death.
Jesus being raised from the death proclaimed that death has no hold on Him! And, all those who believe in Him share in His victory over death and hell. We who believe are also raised with Him in new life! Those who have placed their faith in Jesus have passed from death unto life. It’s the life of God! It’s the life Jesus came to bring to us!
Those who have received Jesus by faith will never die! Now, this present earthly sinful death-doomed body will die. But, not the believer in Jesus! He or she will live forever in God’s eternal Kingdom. Death cannot touch the believer who has the life of Jesus flowing in their spirit. Physical death is only a transfer of locations for us who are in Christ.
We are now what we shall be then. We are no different inside. We have been created in Christ perfect and entire! We are growing in our understanding of who we are. This union that we have now with Christ is an eternal union. We are no more in union with Jesus then, after our passing from earth, than we are now. We are the same! We just have partial understanding now. But, we’re always expanding in the knowledge of who we are in Christ.
By God’s grace, and through faith, we have entered in to what God has provided in Christ. We have entered in, and identified with, the resurrection from death with Jesus. By faith, we were there with Him. We died to the old man of sin that we were. And, we were raised up in the new life with Christ. As He came up, we came up. His life that He gave is now our life also!
We are joined with God as Jesus is now. Because He was raised from the dead, we have His eternal life! What a glorious thing to think about!” KF KenFletcher.org
