Jesus Knows Your Destinations

By Ken Fletcher

“You have flaws. You have seemingly unsolvable problems. Your emotions are on your sleeve. Fears flow like rivers throughout your being. The clouds above seem dark and looming. The future appears to have more and more pain ahead.

Your hope in people has been filled with disappointments. Security in your life seems to slip through your fingers. The flip flops in your mind displays the confusion you are dealing with inside. There seems to be evil oppressing you. Am I describing where you are?

You are experiencing feelings and perceptions many believers have experienced also. You are not alone as Satan would like for you to believe. You are not isolated as the devils would like for you to believe.

These things are experienced by all believers in the world. Inward conflicts within your thoughts are present. But, the question is, why in the world do you find yourself here?

When we refuse to give our lives in full to Jesus for His leadership, we are going to find ourselves in places like these. We know we have flaws. We know we are not perfect in this life. (Though we who are in Christ are perfect inside our soul and spirit.) We grapple with things in this life. But, many times, we do not have to! We can turn it all over to Jesus and live in peace.

We can give all we are to Jesus, and He will lead us. Where will Jesus lead us when we give Him all? Into His best for us! Jesus already knows what is best for us in life.–what we should be involved in–where we should go–where we should be. When we find ourselves in bad places that we do not want to be, chances are we have not submitted our lives to Jesus in some way. Because, Jesus is all about our good.

When we cannot see what is ahead that will hurt us, Jesus does! There is security in Jesus. There is healing in Jesus. There is guidance and protection in Jesus. God is our Father. There is nothing that is impossible with Him. We have Him! And, if we are facing trouble and issues, we can go directly to Father about it.

We can receive wisdom directly from God. We can leave all our troubles at His feet. We can include Jesus in all of our decisions. I assure you, if you are doing the will of Jesus for your life, you will be stepping right out of opposing circumstances and impossible situations. Why? Because, He knows what is ahead for you if you do this or do that. He knows the destinations.

And, He leads us to the ones that He has ordained for us. Which is far better than what we can come up with! Jesus leads in paths of peace. He leads in paths of prosperity and stability. He leads us into abundance. He leads us into a sound mind. Jesus leads us into His wisdom. He gives us the right information we need to stay out of traps and deceptions of the enemy that they have planned to fool us and hurt us.

Jesus is within the believer to bring each one into victory! Why be defeated when you can give it all to Jesus and win! But, that is the problem! We have a will of our own. And, many of us want to do it our way! So, we who must have it our way are going to find out those destinations. And, some of those we are not going to like very much!

When we give it all to Jesus, we are free! Circumstances do not rule us anymore! We are totally submitted to Jesus and, because of that, we will enjoy His best. Maybe you have gotten yourself in a mess. You are experiencing the destinations of your own will. When will you awaken to the fact that you do not know what you are doing? Just like me!

Because since we do not know what is ahead, how can we direct our own life successfully? And, that is what the Lord knows. We do not know what we’re doing as we think! And, so, we can find ourselves in despair and depression because of where we find ourselves in our own will.

Do not go another step until you give your life in total to Jesus. All the past. All the present. All the future. Every part. Every family member. All the money. Jobs. Every aspect. Every care and anxiety. You can give to Father. If He has it, you don’t.

If you insist on keeping control of your life, you will have it. But, if you will choose to keep the total of your life in the care of Jesus, He will bring you out into victory! It’s up to you and I what we do with our will.

So many believers insist on doing things their own way. Then, they find themselves in places they did not plan on. It’s because they have gone in a direction away from what Jesus wanted them to go. All is not lost when we do stupid things apart from His will. We can submit ourselves afresh to Jesus–giving Him control over all the situations of our lives. And, instantly, everything begins to change.

We change directions in whatever way Jesus shows us. We will have much different destinations in our lives if we do it the Lord’s way. But, it’s all about what we decide to do with our own will–which is ours to do with as we wish.

Aren’t you tired of doing things your way and then find out later you are dealing with a lot of unrealized consequences of your decisions?  If you don’t like where you are, then choose differently, my friend! Choose to do it the Lord’s way in every situation. Allow Him to lead.

We should always be submitted to do what Jesus says to do in every situation–giving Him all of our lives completely all the time. That is how we can actually see His will come to pass in our lives practically. I am convinced that our struggle comes from not believing that God’s will is what we want.

After many years with the Lord, I have found out that His way is always superior to my way. So, even a hard head like me can learn to give it all to Jesus. And, I assure you, it is the way to live. Jesus leads us into places of peace and tranquility. Of abundance and supply. He leads us in paths of fullness and satisfaction.

He knows what is going to satisfy our heart better than we could ever understand. The question is, do we really trust Him with it all? Many people do not trust Jesus. They may trust Him with some things, but they do not want to trust Him with it all. Trusting Jesus with your total life requires faith.–Faith that He will lead you into good things.

Do you believe that? Well, I do. And, I have found that His will for us is always the way to go! What’s the problems you are dealing with? Well, no matter what it is, Jesus is bigger! The thing is, will you give Him the things you are dealing with?

Some people will give Jesus their lives and problems, then turn around a few minutes later and take them all back! And, if we have them, Jesus doesn’t. And, right there is the problem. We want to keep carrying them on our own.

Many people have had the steering wheel of their lives for so long that they find it hard to train themselves to give it all to Jesus. But, we can learn! We can practice. We can choose to change! And, if we do, our lives will take on the will of God for us! And that is what is important to each one of us believers.

When the rubber hits the road, we find out who’s really in the drivers seat of our lives. If we’re smart, we’ll gladly give Jesus all. All the time! He has already given His all to us!” KF  KenFletcher.org
