“We’re living in the strangest of times. The younger people don’t have the perspective that we older folks do. Just a few decades ago, America was a different place. My family and I lived in the city, and we kids could play outside all day and even at night without fear of anything evil. It was pretty safe in those days. You could leave the doors unlocked. Not much crime.
Later, when my kids were growing up in the same city, I would not take my eyes off of them when we were out somewhere. Even then, it had become more dangerous than when I was a boy. But, in the present day, we cannot even imagine how much worse it has become here in America.
The changes in our society have not been positive ones. But, things have obviously been going in the wrong direction. I believe at the root of it is spiritual. That is where the problem is! God has been pushed out of our society more than ever. So, guess what fills the void? Evil.
This is a Christian nation founded upon Christian values. But, many in our nation are far from God. Their hearts are not right. And, because of the trends going away from God’s principles, we find ourselves here.
Where is here? A nation filled with lies and deception, violence and criminal activity from our streets to Washington D.C. Is it possible to right this big ship? To get us pointed in the right direction? I believe we have another chance. I believe, we have a small window or space of time to turn it around.
The possibilities are great in front of us. But the enemies of America and freedom are many. And, they are well financed. Organized. And know exactly what their goals are! Which is, in part, to bring America down any way possible! The more chaotic the better.
We must not be the pawns of a larger scheme. The evil forces are desperate for power and control. It seems to me that the only real and lasting way that America can be saved is if the hearts of the people turn away from evil and go to God. The truth is, there is no hope for a real turn around for us without Jesus, dear friend.
Are we praying? We should be! For our nation! For the hearts of the people to come to God. For our leaders! For more exposure of evil! For correction! For election integrity.
This is a corrupt world. And, if we want to be blessed, we must demand integrity in our leaders. We need believers! People that love God who want to do the right thing. May there be a great revival sweep our nation and the world. An awakening! A move of the Holy Spirit!
We are hearing of some pockets of revival in some of the schools and collages. It is so great to see the young people reaching out to Jesus! I have hope when I hear this about them. They are searching for reality! They have been lied to. Many of them are waking up. Maybe, once again, the young ones lead the way to a better future with Jesus!
We must have a spiritual awakening! When folks wake up and see the reality of Jesus, they automatically want to do what is right. Because, their hearts have been changed by the Holy Spirit! They begin to see through the lies of the enemy, the devil. They begin to see what is REALLY going on in this world and in our nation.
When the hearts of the people have turned to God, everything begins to shift in our nation or any other one that does! When the hearts of the people turn to God, light comes. Right thinking comes. Freedom comes. Justice comes. Stability comes. Prosperity comes. Healing comes. Positive ideas come. A society is elevated. Every time!
Oh, how we should believe for a great awakening of our people here in America and the world. God is working and doing amazing things in our generation! Why don’t we believe Him for more? For greater? It starts within us. Do we care enough to pray and believe for these who are blind to the truth?
God is not willing that anyone should perish, but that all would come into the knowledge of the truth! What’s our attitude? Do we agree with Him? Then, it will affect out prayers and believing. Everyone can have Jesus! No one is excluded. Anyone who believes will be saved!
There is no doubt that evil is flourishing in many places. We see more evidence every day. Such shocking things that we learn are happening. But, God is greater than it all. And, when people truly turn their hearts toward Him, He can do impossible things. Evil can be forced to draw back. Light overcomes darkness every time when it shines!
The future can be changed when the people’s hearts are turned to God. We can have His favor. We can have His wisdom and His miracles. It’s up to you. It’s up to me.–How things will turn out in our lives. We may not be able to stop some things from happening. But, we can change us! And, if enough of us give our lives to Jesus, we can change the world!
We can shut the devil down in our personal lives! We can be healed. We can receive His direction and wisdom. No matter what may face us! Believers are never alone! We have Jesus with us forever! No one can take Him from us! Ever! So, we can move into the future with confidence and assurance that Jesus is with us. And, we can do all things we need to do because He is with us.
When the hearts of the people turn to God, good comes to a home, to a neighborhood, to a county, to a city, to a state, to a nation, to a world!
