The more we focus on Jesus in our soul, the more we can hear His direction. We should regularly spend time praising Him and worshiping Him and the Father. Just constantly hanging out with Jesus. We should desire to spend time with Jesus. If we’re not desiring to hear from Him, then we’re probably not going to hear from Him much.
But, if we desire to hear from Him often, then we will. According to our faith, Jesus will hear and respond. If you have given Jesus your all, then you should certainly expect to hear clearly from Him. All believers should be! Even in this fallen world and in a fallen body!
Now, after you have truly given Jesus everything about you, after you have humbled yourself, after you have submitted yourself to Him, after you have consecrated or committed your life to His will whatever it is, and He knows instantly when you do, you should believe you hear from Him in your thoughts. One on one. Thought to thought. It really is a big deal! Because, being in that close of contact with Jesus all the time changes your whole outlook in this life!
You have instant access to Jesus. Someone asks, does He always give you info about the future? No. Some things He wants you to walk out in faith at what is coming up. Other things, in His will and wisdom, He will fore-warn or give clear directions to turn and do this or that.
Sometimes His direction shocks me. Sometimes, I think He is going to say “yes” on something, but He may direct in the opposite or something completely different. It always takes our faith to believe and act on what He is saying to us. So, living with Jesus at the helm is an adventure!
He is wise. He sees our future based upon each choice–He sees all the destinations of those choices in advance. He sees the best way for us to live today and tonight, tomorrow and forever. We should check with Him before we do things when possible. Sometimes that is difficult for us to do on the fly. But, the more we include Him and look to Him for the right thing to do, the more we experience His amazing leadership. He leads us into His best for us and others IF we are submitted.
He will not over-ride your will at any time. Even when we’re submitted to His will, we still are in charge of our own will. We can decide NOT to do what He wants. But, I have found that it really is STUPID to do that.–Like I have many times in the past. His best is what I strive for now.
Why should any of us settle for less than what He has for us? Well, if we do, it’s our own fault. But, we can wise up! We can see where we can course correct. No matter where you are tonight, you can experience what it means to give your life in total, past, present, and future to Jesus to guide from now on.
No matter what you may think is so great in life, if you’re not in God’s will, you have settled for less! He always thinks greater than we do. He knows how He built us and what He put into us, and He knows what will fulfill us the best. Yet, somehow, we want to run the show!
Well, you can if you want. I have found that it is wonderful to be in communication with Jesus like this. But, it costs you everything! But, you loose nothing, because He’s got it, and you gain what He’s got for you! And, He’s got a lot more than you do by yourself! So, it’s not just the deal of the century, it’s the deal of eternity!
It’s the blending of all we are and have with all He is and has! This is real Christianity! This is real Relationship! We are one now! Nothing is just ours anymore EXCEPT our will. And, we give it freely to our Lord Jesus whom we love. Stop and think, does Jesus want to be thought to thought in communication with you every day and night? Of course He does! Because He wants the best for you!
Maybe you have never really considered this subject. Maybe, like me before, you do not think it’s even possible to hear the thoughts of Jesus as I have been trying to describe. Maybe you hunger inside and want more perception of Jesus in your life. I’ll never forget how strange it was to me when I first heard Him so vivid in my thoughts on the night of March 9, 2022.
I was so amazed. It was so different than before. I heard Him so clear. He spoke clear words through my thoughts. It all shocked me! Because I had never heard Him like that before. It was like, before, I had cotton stuck in my ears. And now, it was clear.
The next day, I could not figure out in my mind why I was hearing Him like this now. He explained to me that anyone truly giving Him everything and truly completely submitting and committing to His will for them, can hear His words inside of them. Well, I can tell you that there is nothing better than giving Jesus everything that you have and are!
He said to me, the reason I was hearing Him like I was (and am) is because that’s what I did the night of March 9, 2022. That night, I had an encounter with Jesus after a great spiritual and physical battle on the floor of my bathroom. It has been different with He and I ever since.
Giving Him control over everything brings a rest to our soul. When Jesus is really in the drivers seat, we can expect to hear truly and clearly from Him. We are the ones who are preventing Him from guiding us in all things.
Sometimes, I may catch myself trying to be in control. And, then, when I become aware, it’s time for correction–immediately turning it all back over to Jesus. Because, to swerve off of His will is a big big mistake! How wise it is for a person to really sincerely, humbly, honestly, expose their heart to the Lord. Giving Him all there is to give. He has given all He had to give to us!
It is precious to Jesus and the Father! When He has the complete of us, then we’re going to find out what He’s got for us! And, that, my friend, is worth so much more than we could ever come up with. Why don’t you give Jesus everything?” KF KenFletcher.org
