“I know that a lot of people believe that these are the words of Jesus. They believe He did and said these things. But, they do not believe Him enough to do what He showed us! To actually speak to things in faith from a heart filled with faith! Well, why don’t we? Disobedience? Ignorance? Or is it we just don’t believe what He said about it?
My friend, we believers must get to the place inside our soul where we really do believe Him and run all the doubt out. Unfortunately, most believers don’t even get to first base. Most believers don’t believe in His good will for them.–That Jesus actually took the payment for their diseases and sicknesses on the whipping post so many years ago.–That Jesus wants them healed and well.
Well, that begins with a choice! A choice to believe God’s Word! Only you can believe for you. It’s your heart, not anyone else’s. But, I am surprised at some people who will believe what some unbelieving preacher says about it instead of studying it out for themselves.
Most preachers don’t intentionally mean to be preaching it wrong. They have just been taught wrong themselves. Tradition and religion is passed down from generation to generation. So, it ends up affecting many people’s beliefs.–short circuiting their faith in God. And, many never get away from it throughout their whole lives! So, they end up suffering for many years. So sad.
Well, the real truth is, ANYONE can do Mark 11:23! Jesus said so! So, if you are suffering from some sickness or disease, what is your excuse for NOT doing the words of Jesus? The devil might say, you can’t do that! Only Jesus can do that! And, THAT, my friend is a big fat lie! Because, it is Jesus Himself who said you and I can do it.
So, to believe the devil you would have to NOT believe Jesus! What is your excuse? Well, sometimes it is ignorance. People have not seen it before, or realized it as their solution. Many people have been taught incorrectly about divine healing and receiving by faith. Some need to go back, study and meditate on scripture, by themselves, and determine what God’s will actually IS!
And, the way you determine what His will is, you must go to directly His word and rightly divide it! Now, I am sad to say that many wonderful believers will get sick and die and their loved ones will say, it was God’s will for them to pass away early with some disease. But, you would have to go against the Word to believe that! If a believer does die diseased, since they are in Christ, they are still winners! All!
Someone might say, well brother Ken, you’ve got to die of something! Yes, but you and I do not have to die from a sickness or disease! We could just leave when it is time! And, I have read of some believers who did just that! They just checked out and left! No sickness or disease present!
Some would say that it was a heart attack when their body died. Well, I guess people could say that because, when we leave, our heart stops beating! We won’t need it anymore! It really does not matter what anyone else says about it. What do YOU say about sickness that attacks you? I say Jesus has already carried it according to the Bible!
And, if Jesus does not want us to live with sickness or disease, why would He want us to die with it? Well, I believe He doesn’t! So, I want to be healed while I am here and leave the earth still healed also! The working of faith happens in our heart. It flows out of our mouths and our actions.
If we want to see our faith working, we must change our believing and our words to align with God’s Word. Jesus broke it all down in Mark 11 and Matthew 21. How to speak the faith that is in our heart. If we are to realize His words, we must be doers of His words and not hearers only.
Maybe you have never read anything like this article about the working of faith. Maybe it’s a new thought for you. Or maybe you have not realized about the demonstration and explanation of Jesus in these chapters. Either way, it is up to you to turn your situation around.
