Every day, we see the craziness of this world. It is in turmoil and confusion all the time. You know, this person says this, another says that, who is really telling the truth? Why are things so messed up? Satan is at the root of it through people who yield to him and the demons.
We are Godās very own! The demons hate us. But, if a believer who knows who they are in Christ resists them, the demons feel Godās power against them. You see, there is no struggle between the devils and the Holy Spirit whom we have. It is not in our own strength and power that we resist and command the demons. Itās in Godās mighty power!
We are yielded to the power of God who is within us. There is no struggle, my friend. God within us cannot be compared in any way to the power of the darkness. We are not intimidated at all. They are the ones who are intimidated! Oh my, yes! Itās because of who we are now in Christ. We look just like Jesus in the spirit. Yes we do!
The devils are afraid already! They are just hoping that we do not realize who we are. But, when we do understand who we are and what we have, they all are out of business in our lives. When we perceive the real about the situation, demons are done when it comes to confronting us.
Now, the only real power that they have against us is deception. They have to deceive us in order to put something over on us. Otherwise, they cannot match our power and authority that is in Christ. No demon or even Satan himself can withstand the power of God in Christ who dwells within us forever!
Iāll go on and say that if all of them put together, world-wide, were to come and surround a real believer in Christ, it would not be near enough. Godās power would cause them all to flee from that believer! Itās because the devilās kingdom has already been defeated. Weāre not trying to beat them! They have already lost! And, we have the Victor inside of us!! We enforce His victory! There is no contest!
If we know we are in position under God as we should be, demons all will flee (run away in terror). Because Godās power is terrible and beyond comprehension. They actually feel His power when we resist them. Itās unlimited power. When we are yielded to God and His will, it is ours.
Our angels are amazing creatures. Some of them are messengers. Some inspire. Some are fighters and warriors. Some look about the size of men. Some are huge–over 10 feet tall. They are different and varied in their functions for our family. I like knowing that we have powerful angels right here and now to help us. God has sent them to be with us here! What an amazing truth!
If you are a believer, do you know that they roam your house day and night? I believe that they do so much more than we realize. And, we need to be thankful to God AND to them for what they do for us all the time!
They mostly work in the background not to bring attention to themselves. They live to glorify God. And always want Him to be the focus. And, they are faithful to carry out His Word in our lives. I go to bed with peace. Not because I am armed with guns, etc., which I am, but because I know our angels are here close! And, I know that they have things well in hand for us.
Guns, alarms and dogs are great. Maybe we should or should not have them according to the leading of the Lord for us. But, trusting in guns, etc., is not near enough. We trust in God. We put our trust in Him and our angels. Our security is in Jesus! He and the angels can easily stop things before they even begin.
If for some reason we do not have enough angels for our situation, they instantly call for more, and more come. So, there is never any time we are lacking enough angels to take care of us in a time of need. Praise God! They are always near!
I remember when I first came to Jesus. The Holy Spirit was dealing with me on a lonely Friday night in Indianapolis, Indiana. I was 19 and lost. But, I did not know I was lost. I thought I was dong my own thing. That Friday night, the Lord began showing me things.–That I was actually under demonic influence and control. Exposing the truth to my understanding.
That night, I could hardly sleep. I was tossing and turning. Remembering again about back then that night in the bed, though I could not see in the natural, it seemed so real that there was a great struggle going on above me. It was over me. Spiritual forces were struggling about me. I could sense it.
The next morning Jesus spoke to my mind so clearly. He proved His case to me like a lawyer with evidence. I could not deny that I was influenced and deceived by Satan and his demons in my life. I could only see that because Jesus showed me by His grace. I believe this happening to me was the result of many people who had been praying for me to come to the Lord.
I saw within myself a fork in the path before me. The Lord told me that if I chose to stay on the path I was on, I would be dead in 5 years from a drug overdose. I believed Him. He had just proved His case to me with no doubt. I could not deny the truth of it. I was indeed not in charge of my life as I had believed before.
Thatās when I realized that if someone was going to be in charge of my life, I wanted that someone to be one that loves me. I knew that Satan and the demons hated me. I knew that much. But, I also knew that Jesus loved me. So, I decided that morning that I wanted the One who loves me to be my Lord.
If you do not know Jesus, know this, He loves you like no other! That Friday night so many years ago, I believe that angels and demons were struggling over my soul above me –who was going to have influence and control? Thank God the angels ran the deceivers off so I could comprehend the truth of what was happening in my life.
I was blind to the truth before. But, Jesus caused me to be able to see where I was in reality. I am so thankful. Our angels are a gift from our heavenly Father. He sent them to help us because we are His family!
We should be more aware of their presence. The gifts that God gives to us are so precious. He has given us the gift of eternal life with Him in the Kingdom. Along with the amazing gift of Jesus, He has given us these amazing angels to help. We should always be thankful for them every day. Because, they are such a blessing to us and our family in so many ways.ā KF KenFletcher.org
