“The matrix is a strange place. Where lies flow all over and real truth is scarce. This is a place where faith in God is considered fantasy and illusion. Where the liars speak their lies and then lie to themselves that we believe what they are saying.–When we see right through it! It’s called self deception. Blindness of perception to the truth.
Pride is evident. Pride blinds us to reality about ourselves. So, we can be in our little world of lies believing that others see it the way we see it. Only to realize later that we have been in self delusion. Believing lies about ourself. Which is a manifestation of pride.
With all of this selfishness and willful behavior going on, the deception tactics are many. Once you have been lied to, now you can’t believe anything the person is saying anymore. Truth is sacred. To be revered. Because falsehood is in the hearts of many. Out to deceive. Mis-direct. Trick. Use deceptive tools to achieve their selfish ends. All lies. It’s all over the matrix. Every day!
Propagated false and slanted narratives. To move people in the direction they want them to go. Manipulate their thinking. Through partial and full lies and twisted narratives. Partial lies are just as bad as full on lies. You remember the story of the boy that cried, “wolf”. As a joke, the first time he cried “wolf” to warn people they all jumped into action and fled, etc. Then, they realized it was a lie. Then, he did it again. And, they fled believing that danger was near. Once again, it was false. He laughed at them.
But, then, a real emergency came and there was a real wolf coming. He cried, “wolf”, but no one believed him anymore. Even though there was a real one this time. They thought it was just another lie. So it is with liars. They disqualify themselves to be trusted. They prove that they are compromised. They lie for a reason. An agenda. And, we’re supposed to believe them? Once a person has broken sacred trust in the truth and formulated a lie, then when that trust is broken, it is very difficult to get it back.
The trouble with lies is the truth never changes. So, some day, all the lies will be exposed as lies. And, the truth will still prevail because the truth is always the truth. Unchangeable!
We must always be on the side of truth. When we step into the deception arena, we step into a trap. A trap of our own making. It waits on us. Looming. Because, we know, some day it will all be exposed. Why live like that?
Why live with knowing that we are living a lie in some regard? That’s like always looking over your shoulder in fear. Knowing someday, that lie is going to catch up with you. That’s no way to live! We want to live clear. Honest. Truthful lives in faith before the Lord. Living in lies is just a ball and chain! Dragging that heavy ball around all the time! While inside knowing the truth about the situation.
Well, we can be forgiven. We can be free! We can correct ourselves within. We can be people of the light! People of truth. I am always trying to find the truth of what is happening. To find the REAL of the situation. Because there are so many lies every day, it takes some effort on our part to find the real truth. Sometimes, you’ve got to dig!
What a deceptive place this is we are living in. It’s hard not to be affected by all the untruths flowing. But, we as believers must learn to keep our focus inward to who lives in our heart. We must get our life’s direction and purpose from Jesus who lives within us all the time. To focus on Jesus is to focus on the truth! He leads us into truth. Out of deception. Out of the enemy’s domination and false perceptions.
It is so sad that many believers in Jesus are believing lies. They are being manipulated. They are taking in false things about who they are in Christ. Religion is messing up their minds to the purity of our relationship with Jesus.
It usually shows up in the area of performance or works. You have to do this and do that to be right with God. You have to follow some sort of creed. All these things are false. Jesus receives us regardless of our performance! Believers doing good works is supposed to be simply proceeding out of our pure re-created spirit.
You see, when we are in Christ, we are made perfect inside. We share in His perfection now. The very fact that the Holy Spirit now indwells every believer means we are created perfect and entire in Him! There is no sin in our soul and spirit because God dwells there. Our performance is not what our relationship is based on!
In our heart, we just want to do His will. But, we have flesh too! And, we have the mind of the flesh to deal with. It is ever with us here on earth. The flesh can be trained to do what we (the soul) wants to do, which is the will of God. Our flesh has to be slapped down because sometimes it wants to go in wrong directions and make wrong sinful choices.
We have to learn to run the show from the inside where Jesus abides with us. We have the truth inside, dear friend. We have His discernment within our soul. Are we accessing His wisdom and truth? Or do we need a change of focus?
One thing for sure, it is terrible to observe deceived people. I want to understand the truth of what is going on. I want to see through to the real of it. Because to be deceived is to be given false information for the purpose to manipulate what we believe. To cause us to lean or choose a direction that we would not have chosen had we known the real truth of the matter.
That is why lying is a sin. It is manipulation. It’s devilish. It’s earthly. It’s selfish. It’s quite literally, for us who know it’s results personally in our own lives, we have found out, that all it is for us in reality, is just a ball and chain!” KF KenFletcher.org
