“There are many people who believe they are right with God. They have convinced themselves that Jesus is with them in what they are doing. The problem is, they do not have His nature within them. They live their lives in deception. Apart from God.
Apart from God’s regeneration. Being deceived by the deceiver and, while living deceived themselves, they deceive others also. Some are religious folk, some are not. They twist the Bible to mean what fits into their own agenda and viewpoint. Not rightly dividing the word of truth.
These who believe falsely will be faced with the REAL truth when they face Jesus. After they tell Him about all they have done for Him, and why they should be accepted, Jesus will reply, I never knew you–depart from me! Suddenly, what they had believed and based their life on went up in smoke. Poof! And, there it is! Reality!
I am really concerned about these people–who Jesus said would be many. I am concerned that they will go to the end of their life apart from Jesus. These who say they know the Lord but have never given their heart completely to Him have, in fact, made themselves His enemies. And all will be revealed in the last day who is who’s.
I believe it is imperative that we make a careful examination of our hearts. Are we really His? Do we want to do what He says? Does Jesus really have our heart? Or, are we being deceived into thinking we are okay with God? Friend, you either have Jesus or you don’t.
To have Jesus means we have eternal life. No Jesus, no eternal life. Some love their present life the way they want it. But, is it what God wants for their life? I have found that the things that I have done in my own will are a loss to God’s purposes. I have suffered loss in years past. I know it. The time that I have spent on my own agendas was really lost time and effort for eternity.
A life consecrated and committed to the plan of God is a life of unselfishness–yielded to what He wants. It becomes a life of blessing and direction to God’s divine plan and purpose. We need to be serious about this. We get one time to do this down here. Then, we go to be with Jesus and eternity’s rewards. It matters to discover God’s will. It matters for eternity what we do here on earth for God and people!
To understand that our motives and actions affect eternal spirits (people) means we understand what is really important in life. There is more to life than enjoying the material realm. I am not belittling enjoying the earth as much as possible while we are here. But, I am saying that we must keep our priorities right. Keeping our focus on what really is important, which is keeping our focus on what is eternal.
Most people don’t even know that they are actually spirit beings first and foremost! We are 3 parts: Soul, Spirit, and Body. Our soul is comprised of 3 general areas: The Will, The Mind, and The Emotions. The soul is who you are! It is eternal. Your spirit body along with your soul lives on after your body dies. So, as eternal beings, we have to awaken to the understanding that we must know Jesus. He brought Father God’s own eternal life with Him to earth. In order to give it to us who did not have it!
Jesus is the Lord of life! If you do not have Jesus, you do not have His eternal life. Though you are an eternal spirit, you do not possess the God kind of eternal life. You are presently in a separated condition. Either you are His or you belong to the father of lies, Satan. I used to belong to the devil, but I changed families! I got out of Satan’s death cult, and ran to Jesus’s life! I was condemned, but now I am no longer in condemnation. I am in Christ! I’m in the beloved of God now.
You can be certain of your eternal destiny. You can receive Jesus tonight! There is no good reason to reject His love and acceptance. Why don’t you open your heart to Him. He knows all about the sin and mess ups. He wants you anyway–just the way you are! Let Him take care of you. Let Him take control of your future! Even in this present life, with Jesus, it can become better than you could ever imagine it to be. Let Him have your life in total.
Eternity is a long time to have made the wrong choice. Jesus is calling you tonight! Don’t turn Him away. You know, that feeling down inside of you. That’s the Holy Spirit inviting you into God’s family! What a privilege to sense the leading of the Holy Spirit in our spirit.
Ultimately, is comes down to your own decision. Who will you choose? To stay in the wrong family is a choice that you make tonight. Who is who’s? Make sure you belong to Jesus!” KF KenFletcher.org
