“Jesus by-passed the fallen bloodline of Adam that we all share. Ours is tainted blood with death in it! Jesus had the blood of God! The death that was present in our blood was not in the veins of the man, Jesus of Nazareth. He was the second Adam. He was the last Adam!
Just like our natural father, Adam, the original man, when He was created, there was no death in his blood! He (along with we) were originally created to live forever on earth! But, when he sinned, death entered into our human family! It was passed down through the blood to us. What happened affected the whole perfect creation.
When Jesus was born on earth, there was nothing in Him to kill Him, age Him, or anything able to make Him sick. Even though He was surrounded by death, sickness and disease, poverty, and the other evil things because of our fall from perfection, it could not get on Him. His blood was perfect–the blood of God!
Jesus did not sin. So, death had no right to Him. Listen friend, no one could “take” Jesus without Him allowing them to do so. He could have called ten thousand Angels to deliver Him from any man or any massive army. Instantly! Jesus had to “give” His life for us.
If He didn’t give His life, He would still be on earth toady–young as ever. But, we all would continue to be abiding in death–separated from God. Because His death and resurrection from the dead was our way back to God! Faith in Jesus is the connection that brings eternal life to us!
He was tortured and murdered–suffering the cruelest most shameful death known in His day. But, they did not take Him against His will. They could not! He yielded Himself to the will of the Father–saying, if there is any other way to do this, Father, show me. Nevertheless, not my will but your will be done in me Father. That is what He did. He did not want to die. But, He knew that there was no other way for us to be saved except through the Father’s plan of redemption!
He committed to giving Himself in order to complete the will of God He came to do! The fact was then, and still is, there was NO OTHER WAY for us to be united with God again! Through our faith in the grace of God in Christ, we can now approach the Throne of God. We can be united with God no matter where we have come from because of Jesus.
Jesus is the strongest man that ever lived. He is the strongest in every way and never caved in to the enemy or to people! His miraculous birth, death, and resurrection from the dead, and everything He said and did in between, was a gift from God to us all.
Do we realize what God has done? Not like we should! Many times, I feel like I’m only just scraping the surface when I think deeply about what Jesus has done. It is so tremendous! Beyond imagination! Beyond comprehension! But, what love from the Father was displayed to us in His birth, and His life, and His death and resurrection from the dead. All for us!
He did not need the eternal life of God. WE DID! And, He came for us. All who believe are accepted into the beloved of God. Anyone! Anytime! There are no restrictions. Anyone can believe and receive His eternal life!
His birth was a miracle. His life was a miracle. His death was a miracle. His resurrection was a miracle. He is returning to earth someday. It is sure and absolute! All of His words come to pass! Every one!
The big question that is facing each individual in the whole world tonight is, what will you do with Jesus? The only man who died and was raised from the dead by God for our redemption! Will you willfully reject Jesus? Or will you run to Him as fast as you can in faith? KF KenFletcher.org
