“I woke up today thinking about how little I know. Well, I do know some things. And, I have learned some things about my relationship with Jesus. But, in the scope of all that we have in our union with God, it’s obvious that I know very little of what I will know later.
It reminds me of my utter dependence on God. That I am still a child in understanding. I am growing, and I know more than I used to, but also knowing that I understand so little of what is really going on. I remember what Kenneth E. Hagin said. He said that the more he learns and knows about God, the more he realizes how little he knows. And, I can certainly relate with that.
The more you and I mature in our understanding of God, the more we can perceive how little we really know. Why is that? Because, what we have in Jesus is so vast in every direction that when we do come into some partial understanding of it, and perceive the real of what we have now with Him, at that time, we then are mature enough to see and understand more than before.
Then, we realize more of what we already have is so huge with Jesus. I am thankful that Jesus is watching and leading me in my way down here. Because, in reality, we know so little of the whole picture.
It’s okay to be a child in understanding. Jesus knows where we are in spiritual growth. But, it’s not okay to stay as a child in understanding. We should be constantly growing in the knowledge of Jesus! We should desire to grow in our comprehension of our union with God. We can do much more with Jesus than we think we can!
We must always stay dependent upon our Lord as we grow and go forward. Understanding how limited we are in our comprehension without Him. But, thank God, we’re NOT without Him! And, Jesus is faithful to lead us in the right paths for us to walk in this life.
And, He is faithful to help us grow into a more complete understanding of who we are in Him. It is so great what God has done in us! He has given us the Kingdom! How good God is to us!” KF KenFletcher.org
