“Believer friends, we have been duped by wrong teaching and religious indoctrination. Passed down by tradition. Jesus has said that the traditions of men make the Word of God of no effect. Religion is in place to take out the power of the truth and replace it with an empty powerless form.
Relationship with God is what all true believers have! Pure. Undefiled truth! It’s in Christ! In us! We ARE the church. Not some organization! Not some creed, dogma, or doctrine! We are accepted in the beloved because of our faith in Jesus!
What does that really mean? Much more than we can comprehend in this present life. But, we’re growing in the knowledge of who we are! What has been revealed to us in the Bible is that we share a place next to the Father right along with Jesus. He is our Head. We are His body. Does God condemn His own Body? Of course not! There is no condemnation because we are in Christ.
Notice, we have been raised together with Christ–as part of His body! That means, dear believer friend, we have been included into His divinity! Into God’s divinity! We are created divine in Christ! We have the same standing before the Father as Jesus does!
Jesus always has the preeminence above all things. We are in total agreement with our Head. We do what our Head directs us to do. We are included in with the Godhead now! What an amazing thought! How can it be? It is tough for us to think in such terms. But, we ARE God’s children! Now! It’s fact!
And, we have been raised up together with Christ. Now! And, this is the operation of God Himself! Oh, wonder of wonders. That you and I are His family. We are the body of Christ! We ARE in two places at the same time! Here, in a death doomed body on a cursed earth, AND sitting next to the Father in the heavenly realm in the spirit. Simultaneously! The Bible declares it!
And, if you and I will simply believe and live this way, we will grow in our understanding of who we are! Many believers now are doing things because of religious indoctrination. Not because they are living in personal faith in the leading of Jesus inside.
They are the church as much as any real believer. But, they are lacking the power of the Word in their lives. The reality of who we are is not found in religion! The real has been masked and distorted by religion. The truth and reality is, we actually have been included in the place where Jesus sits beside the Father!
Father does not have only one Son anymore! He has many male and female Sons now! I am one! As any real believer in Jesus! What can we do in this place He has seated us? Anything He says we can do! Whether from His written Word or from His Spirit within our spirit. We can do it all now!
Our relationship is forever linked to His wonderful will. When you really get the revelation of these truths working in you, it changes everything. Your perspective of yourself must be grounded in God’s Word.
If you’re seeing yourself from the religious standpoint, you’re probably at least partially blind to reality.–The reality of who you really are now in Christ. What we have with Jesus is not religion. Ours is a relationship! We are a family!
This, what you have, is not focusing on your performance to try and please God. This is awakening to the real relationship you have. It is awakening to what the Bible says is true about you now! It is living by faith in the Head of our body, the Lord Jesus, to guide your earthly steps. Jesus is our Lord!
Yes, we can only see and perceive partially in this life. But, we CAN believe what the Word says and live in the reality of it by faith! Yes, we can! And, we should! We should be learning more and more experientially what it means to be in Christ as His body!
When you know who you are, your prayers are different. When you know who you are, Father God is so close–as you look just over to your left inside. When you know who you are, the demons tremble. When you know who you are, your faith in God can soar. We have been created in the highest Royalty, my brother and sister!
Religion is powerless. Dogma. Partial in understanding. Error mixed in with partial truth. It can be manipulative and subtile. Sometimes it’s boldfaced and glaring. Just recently, I saw a video of a pastor who scolded a dear sister who only could give $1200 or so in a special church offering. As she stood in front of the church giving her offering, the pastor said to her insultingly, “I said only at least $2000 in the offering!” Amazing! I should not be surprised anymore. But, it still shocked me.
Why do people go to a church that does that? I can’t figure it. But, many Christians do. It’s religion, dear ones! You have to discern it within yourself. In many churches, there is good mixed in with the bad, my believer friend! When the focus is on works and not on relationship with Jesus, it should be pretty obvious.
What should we be doing? We should be being led by Jesus inside in everything! Where we go to church. Where we work. Where we live. Relationships. When we should do this or that. How we should approach decisions and choices. What and how much we give. When. Where. Everything in Christ.
The more we pay attention to our relationship with Jesus inside, the more we do the right things in life! Our attention should not be on our performance, it should be on who we are with Jesus inside! Our performance will follow what He directs as we live by faith in Him.
Oh, of course we know here on earth, we’re going to mess up and make mistakes sometimes. But, when our attention and affection is on what Jesus wants to do with and through us, we will miss it less and less. This is not religion or format or tradition. This is real understanding of our unique personal relationship with God.
We ARE who God says we are! We are located where God says we are! We can hear from God anytime because we are infused with Him! Does your church teach this? Do you have these important truths working in you?
Your relationship with Jesus is as unique as you are! Only now, you’re not alone anymore, it’s you AND Jesus inside. A blend! You are linked and included because you have His Spirit within your spirit! This is reality for every true believer in Jesus!
It’s sad that many, many believers are asleep on these truths about themselves. Without the true revelation of who they are with Christ, when they leave this earth, they will, of course, instantly know then. But, the knowledge and revelation of who they are did not help them or others while they were on the earth. There is loss of temporal and eternal things when a believer does not know the truth of who they are.
I sincerely hope this article helps you. Thanks for reading. I don’t expect many people will read this. Or any of my writings for that matter. But, I believe Jesus sends people to read who may need what these articles are dealing with. These are not for everyone.
