If so, I hope you read this entire article. Many people are suffering from a distorted view of God. Sometimes, it’s partially not their fault. They have been presented a pack of lies that seemed to be true about God.
Some people have been extremely hurt in life. They try to make sense of it all. Why? There are many complex reasons of the “why” of the hurt. Others have prayed to God concerning a loved one who was sick or dying, and instead of them getting better, they got worse or died. Was it God’s fault?
These are deep questions to ponder in our heart. God is the most mis-represented person of all time. Those who do not know Him will question His motives. Satan likes to confuse the issue by putting blame on God that is Satan’s own doing. To know God is to understand His nature. To understand God we must have a basis of truth about Him. He has given us His Word, the Bible. He has given us His Word, the Lord Jesus Christ!
We can begin to understand many things about Him from His Word. Will we be honest inside and expose ourselves before Him? Will we reach for the real truth of why the evil happened? Did He do nothing? Did He not care? Why was the bad allowed to continue? Friend, these can be complex issues of what was really behind it all.
Unfortunately, we see and understand so partially in this life. To really get the real picture of God and us, we must study the Bible and understand things from God’s perspective! Our perspective is flawed. Our feelings get involved. We can be seeing things and perceiving things incorrectly. In essence believing a distorted picture of things–what REALLY is behind them! I hope you will read this whole article. Maybe it will help.
There are spiritual things that are behind what happens in our lives. Most are not aware of this truth. The evil that we are experiencing in life has a source. In one word, Satan. Our earthly family’s father, Adam, gave our perfect natural realm to Satan in the beginning. The horrors of evil were unleashed upon this earth and our families.
Death now reigned supreme on earth. Changing everything from the perfection of God’s original design. We must look at the source. We must understand why it’s on us. We must know the heart of God to see the real. He has given us His Word.
Do we seek out what He has said about our situation? Why do we blame Him for what we are not willing to do? The bottom line now after the fall, and after Jesus came and redeemed us is, will we believe what God has said for us to do?
My friend, it is through real Bible faith that we receive good from God. Do we believe He will give us wisdom? Do we believe that he has sent us healing for our earthly bodies? Do we believe that He has given us His peace? How about protection? How about financial blessings? How about His miracle power being displayed in our personal lives?
How is it happening? It is through faith in what His will is for us. Which is always good! Very, very good! We connect to His will through faith. Faith IN what He has said. That means we have faith in God. If we are not receiving what He has said, then we are not to the place in faith we should be. When you believe, you are confident. When you believe what God has said, no matter what, you stand in expectation!
People have a twisted perception about God. He gets blamed for all kinds of things that He has nothing to do with. You’ve heard of clauses on insurance policies saying about tornadoes, etc. being acts of God. Untrue! God does not send bad storms or destruction knocking buildings down and hurting people. He sends rain to feed the crops of the un-thankful unbeliever and the thankful believer. He is a good God.
If you think He is your enemy, then it is you who have made yourself an enemy. He is not interested in hurting people. In fact, He is interested in helping people.–In what ever area they are struggling in. You can blame God if you want. It will not do you any good. It will only lock you out of His good things. He is still good, even if you misunderstand Him. He will still help you all He can!
Sometimes, when I pray for someone and mention their name to the Father, I realize, He is already doing what I prayed for. I have said to Him, Father, I should have known you were already doing this what I was just praying for.–You are so good! He has said to me, I knew you would come and ask. I thought, wow! What a good good Father He is!
My friend, will He lead you? Of course He will! You! Him to you! If you believe, He will guide you! He will bring you into His best if you allow Him. He will show you exactly what you need to do! BUT! Not if you blame Him for the evil. Why? Because you are believing lies about Him. How can God be your solution if you believe He is your problem?
I can assure you, no matter where you find yourself in life tonight, Jesus and His Word IS your solution! If you have not connected to Him, you can! There is truth available to you if you are willing to be honest and gut level with God. He will meet you there.
It’s your own faith in God’s Word that makes the difference. Really now, what do you believe? Where did that belief come from? Was it from God? Was it from a friend or parent? Others’s beliefs is not what is most important. It is your own faith in God that makes the difference. I can want the best for you. But, that does not matter. What matters is, what do you want for you?
Do you want to connect to the will of God or not? Will you do what He says? Do you believe it enough to lock in by faith to what God has said concerning your situation–and practice it? That is were the rubber meets the road. You in faith of God’s Word. Nothing is too hard for Him. It’s not a question about IF He can help, it’s a matter of what can you lock into by faith! What do you believe He will do?
The fact is, He has already sent Jesus. He has enforced His Word for us. Our believing brings us into what He has already done through Jesus. It is a done deal, my friend! What is stopping the flow of His will being accomplished in our lives? The connection of faith!
Through faith we can unlock all that God has provided through Jesus! What has He provided? It’s in His Word! Will you seek it out? Will you study about what He has provided for us? There it is! What will you do with your attention?
If you refuse to study and learn for yourself, and just listen to someone else’s opinion, your attention will rule you! Someday, you may end up blaming God for something He had nothing to do with. But, will you realize that? Or will you stay deceived?
Why in life do we find ourselves in the places we do? Maybe it has to do with our focus and attention! Why do some people believe and hook up to Jesus and some do not? Why do some believers get healed by faith and others do not? Maybe it has something to do with their focus and attention in life. Maybe it has to do with them believing lies about what God has done through Jesus! Maybe they don’t know experientially what it means to believe God’s Word and do it in faith.
I’m talking to some people tonight! You can’t blame God for what is your own fault! Get real! You may have missed it and come short. I know that I have! Is that God’s fault? How about being true to yourself and expose who and what you are to God! Let Him show you what needs to be adjusted for you to realize personally the results of His Word. It’s all up to you! God has moved! He is waiting on you to do your part.
God has given you a will of your own. What I believe for me is not going to help what you believe for you. God is greater than your problem. He has the ability to do much more than what you can believe Him for.
How hungry are you for the truth? Hungry enough to dig and study His will? Hungry enough to put your focus and attention upon His Word? Then, keep your focus there until you really believe it? Will you really do it?”KF KenFletcher.org
