Spiritual Dullness

By Ken Fletcher July 9, 2023

“Many Christians are so distracted from what’s really important. The material realm dominates their thinking most of the time in their lives. So, when it comes to knowing who they really are, the real man or woman who is spirit inside, they are terribly deficient. Pretty sad for a believer to be in this condition. Especially when inside they have Jesus on board. Well, you know, it comes down to our heart. What we want. Do we want a deeper relationship with Jesus? Do we want to be directed by His Spirit in things? Will we let Him lead? Will we obey and follow in faith? There is a lot of things to consider in life. But, to be distracted from the most important things is a really, really bad thing to be doing. To be spirit led means to listen to Jesus inside and do what He’s directing us to do. One must spend time with Him. Communicating. Listening. Worshiping. Thanking Him. Thinking about Him. Knowing He is only after our best. Living in a place of confidence with Jesus. Trusting Him. It’s a spiritual place. It’s a resting place. It’s a place of understanding and growth. But, if you are distracted with the material realm, will you be able to hear Jesus clearly inside about your life? Perhaps not. But, why live in the place of spiritual dullness when you can live in connection with the awareness of Jesus all day? It really does begin with a choice.” KF
