“The simplicity of the good news of Jesus is a stumbling block to some. It just can’t be that easy, some say. It can’t really be free, others say. In reality, it’s so easy that a child can understand.
It is all about God who loves us in spite of the fact we turned our back on Him. Who had pity upon us in our separated and lost condition. Who Himself provided the way back to Him through His own Son, Yeshua. Who gave Himself as the ultimate sacrifice to pay for our lost condition. The Worthy One for the unworthy ones!
His sacrifice paid the way for the miracle of eternal life to be imparted to each of us who believe! A one time forever sacrifice that enables the believer to access God’s very own eternal life! The spirit of the believer is changed forever. The believer is blended and infused with the eternal life of the Lord.
The resurrection of the Lord Jesus is proof of God’s overcoming power over death hell and the grave. The believer shares in this new life. By identifying ourselves with this through faith we are buried with Him, and risen with Him in new life! This is a work of God. Man cannot do what God has done in us.
The man or woman who puts their faith in Jesus shall receive eternal life. It is just that simple. Anyone who calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved, the Bible says. God looks on the heart. He knows if we are being real or not. Are we just flapping our gums with Jesus? Or do we really mean business! God knows.
It is so simple. Receiving God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus is simply believing it is so and purposely taking it with thanksgiving. He does all the work inside of you by His Spirit. It is just that easy to receive God’s love.
The desire begins in your heart. Don’t let the simplicity of the good news of Jesus trip you up. It really is that easy and basic. It’s so simple that all can receive and come into the Kingdom with the Lord. There simply is no good excuse. So, why don’t you simply give your heart to Jesus right now?” KF KenFletcher.org
