“The reality of the believer is different than the reality of a fallen person. The understanding of the believer is based upon God’s Word. The believers transformation is possible because of their faith. The belief of God’s Word is at the core of a believer’s experiential journey. I have believed. I have received. I can tell of what has happened to me in order to help someone else.
This existence on earth is a soup of deception we wade through every day. The perception of our world can be completely wrong–just from information we receive. It is intentional. It is wrong on purpose. Designed to manipulate. Belief in the truth is imperative. My friend, we are transformed as we dwell on the truth.
The word of God, the Bible is the truth. It has been interpreted wrong many times. Misunderstood many times. Laced with man’s ideas and viewpoints. But to know the truth means we experience the truth. Believers have the ability to see reality. People in this world have many ideas and philosophies they say is the truth.
But, I have embraced the truth. His name is Jesus. It is on His word that believers can stand. It is not just the truth for this life, but for eternity. There are many things I do not understand about God’s Word. But, I am a learner. A seeker for the truth. Jesus helps me to see things right when I naturally miss it.
All who are in Christ are new creatures. Connected to God. One with the Holy Spirit and with Jesus and the Father. One with the Godhead! What an amazing truth. An experiential reality that the world does not know. Experiential truth based on our foundation of the Word and our faith in Jesus! A different reality!
The reality that I am experiencing is one with Jesus inside. Some believers pray to God as if He is millions of light years away from them. When, all the time, He is inside of them. Yes, He is on the throne in His Kingdom, but His Kingdom is within us! We are connected. A much different reality than the world knows.
We have Jesus. And, since we have Jesus, as He is, so are we in this world. The reality of the world is separated from God. It is deception that they cling to as real. I am amazed at how many lies I hear in just one day. Every day! Bouncing around this atmosphere down here.
The believer’s foundation of reality is solid no matter what may be going on here on earth. Some people call it religion. I call it relationship. What reality are you perceiving? Is it really true?” KF KenFletcher.org
