“What does your opinion and my opinion got to do with the way things really are? What is it you base your opinion on? If it denies God, then there is no basis for truth! Because He abides beyond time and space. All what we know.
I believe the Bible has the truth about the way things are and why. How God sees us then and now. But, even many who have studied the Bible all their lives differ on some really key issues. Do we cast them out as not valid because we disagree? I believe it comes down to living in submission to Jesus ourselves. Believing what he has shown us as the truth.
I am always willing to change as long as I know it is my Jesus. He has never led me wrong in anything all my life. Anytime I have had enough sense to follow Him, He has always brought me to good things. Always. I believe we should live change-able, teach-able, flex-able, flowing with Jesus. But, at the same time, be completely convinced of what He has shown us as the way it is.
We do not have time to belittle another in whatever they are convinced of in themselves. That is all the Holy Spirit’s job. He is the One who brings us into the truth of Jesus.
So, when we talk to others, we can respect their opinion. They can respect our opinion. But, when it is all said and done, it’s God’s opinion about it all that matters. Everything else bows it’s head in the face of His truth!” KF KenFletcher.org
