“Jesus said to me tonight. “Do you know who you are? Do you know who you are?” That is the question to every believer! That is the main problem of the believer. The reason for so many things involving our life here on earth revolve around this one question. Believers have not been taught properly to seek Jesus for the truth and the revelation of who they are now.
We are much more than we know. Much! The Father has raised us up to the level of Jesus! We are in His very body! We are seated with Him in the heavenlies. Jesus is our brother! Jesus is our Head. Our God. Our Lord and Savior. We are joined with Him forever. Now, and in eternity. Never to be apart. Ever! Forever connected with Him. That is what must be focused upon.
How do we grow in the knowledge of God? By allowing Him to guide us into His revelation of who we really are together with Him. One thing that happens, when you begin to understand the magnitude of who you are, your problems with the devil will diminish quickly. Some believers wrongly surmise that there is a struggle with them and the devil. But, that’s only because they do not realize the truth yet.
When we know who we are with Jesus, the devils fear and quake. It’s because of our family power that flows within our spirits! We ARE God’s children! We’re not trying to get Him–We HAVE the Great Mighty Holy Spirit within us all the time. When the devils know that you know, well, lets just say they do not like coming around very much.
Our power over them is so far superior that there is no comparison! Jesus said that he moved the devils by the finger of God. Like flicking off a mosquito. So you can see that it does not take very much of God’s power to push them around where we don’t want them. They are truly powerless against the overwhelming force of the mighty power of God. And, THAT is what we have inside, dear believer friend. That is who we are! That’s what we have! That is the truth!
We can talk about it, but until you get the vision and revelation inside, it will not seem real to you. You won’t be believing it. Perhaps these things come with maturity and growth. Spending time with the Lord our understanding grows. But, also, I believe it comes through a heart desire. A true desire to press into the real truth of us and Jesus. Drawing near to Him to find the truth of who we are together. That goes miles with Jesus.
He is the satisfier of our souls, dear one. If you want to know how vast this all is, you can search. And, you can search. And, you will find many things that are deep truths with Jesus. But, the one thing that you will find out is that this is so much greater than what you can find out in this life. But, in order to accomplish what the Lord wants you to accomplish, you need to know who you really are! What you really have! What you can really do!
There is nothing to get puffed up about. Pride has nothing to do with this! Humility is our way. Submission to Jesus is our way. Reality is our way. Being unified with Jesus comes to us as a gift. It is God’s gift to us. How could we get puffed up about that? It is ALL His grace!
Now, I was talking earlier about the devils. They are here. They are temporary. They will be removed from our presence some day. Father will deal with them finally in His own time. In the mean time, we must deal with them personally with the Authority of Jesus in His Name. As children of God! Our personal authority is limited. Other men and women’s wills are involved also. But, in most cases, our scope of Authority over demons is greater than we realize.
They are completely evil. They are vicious. Their mission is, kill, steal, destroy. They are liars. Deceivers. They do not know the truth. They are already judged and condemned. Their fate is sealed. There’s no redemption for them.
We have angels who help us. The more we understand who we are, the more we understand the working of our God given angels. We have many! There is no shortage of angels in our family. They protect and guard us and our families daily. They fight off many demons who may try and set us up or attack us.
Sometimes, we may have to speak to demons directly. Casting them out. Breaking up their plans. Pushing them away. Now, when we do that, it doesn’t feel very good to them. God’s overwhelming power forces them to do things they don’t want to do. God’s power pushes them by force! And, they move! When we are positioned under God’s Authority, and rise up in our Authority, resist and speak, they flee away in terror! Truth!
We must constantly seek wisdom and leadership from Jesus to know what is behind things in this life. There is so much deception present! What may seem is good may not actually be. We must be led. But, we have Jesus! And, we have the Father. And, we have the Holy Spirit. We are One.
This was the desire of Jesus. This is why He came. To bring us into one-ness with God. It is beyond the most amazing thing you have ever heard about. That God has raised us up together in new life with Christ. And, made us sit together in the heavenly realm. Far above all principality and power and dominion. Yet, we are servants. Serving our Lord. Serving people. We have so much to give. So much to share. We operate by faith in this life. We live by faith and not by sight. The primary question to you and to me tonight is, do we know who we are?
Well, don’t know about you, but I’m coming up some. And, as I do, I realize, there is so much more to understand. I know so little. I understand so little. But, I am so glad that Jesus is always patient and kind with me. How about you? Are you coming up in your understanding of the Lord? Who are you, really?” KF TheRoadOfFaith.org
